Narrator's POV
When you're a young girl, you & your mother visited her ancestral home, where the crystal clear water flows as the smooth stones flowed with them. You would play pretend near the river. You also remembered the first time you saw the sudden appearance of the floating purple flowers. From the lavenders to the roses. You would collect them, and brought it home to either keep them to yourself or give to your mother & relatives. The scent smelled wonderful indeed. When it's the time to leave, you would thank the river for letting those pretty flowers floating for you to get them. Those memories created a curiosity in you: Who was the one who doing it?

You went alone to your mother's ancestral home, a few months after your mother passed away. Your relatives were still there, & nothing changed that much. You still visited the river, and it's still clear & sparkling as before. The purple flowers were still floating with assorted types of florals. You smiled immediately and rushed to get some, but you suddenly stopped yourself. Your curiosity went to its peak, that you decided to return those flowers to the owner. They're probably be mad for stealing their flowers, but maybe they'll understand you though. You took a few of the flowers, and clutched it to your hands. You walked to the your right, where the flowers came from. The sound of the sand & stones aside from the lovely sounds of waters.
The wind was cooling you under the warm morning. You began to let your thoughts take over you. You really missed your mother. She's beautiful as the flowers, and kind & gentle. Even though she can confront you in either comforting or stern ways, you loved her. Your mother died due to an illness. You asked the heavens why did this happened to her, but not you.
As you walked further, you saw a blurry silhouette of a tall person, throwing flowers with grace as if he's throwing trash or feeding chickens(now that's what I called, weird!). You immediately hid yourself behind the tall trees. You continued walk except quietly. The problem is the stones & the sand, "Is that the one?" You murmured to yourself as you peeked from the tree. You then saw him walking towards the opposite side. You can see him better now.He was wearing a dark lavender shirt and a pair of dress pants, & a pair of dance shoes for some waltz. A weird outfit for a man. His hair was slicked, and a bit shiny. He was watching the flowers flowing the the left side. You did leaned forward to observe him more, but you weren't aware that you're making yourself exposed. You suddenly moved forward, resulting you tripping & tumbling down the sandy ground. You groaned & yelped in pain during the tumbling. You finally stopped beside him, which he immediately took you for you to stand up, "Woah, there sweets. That's one harsh tumbling!" His husky & charming voice created butterflies in your stomach. This is weird, "Y-Yeah. It's harsh indeed!" You softly replied to him while avoiding eye contact. You dusted off the sand particles on your body, "Heh...Thanks for helping, sir." you answered to him with shyness coating, "Were you spying on me?" He suddenly asked with a surprisingly kind manner. Your nervousness levels increased, and your face was getting warmer, "Spying? Pfft, nah! Why would I do that?" You remarked with a nervous smile, "Really? I sometimes got spied by those friends of yours in your distant house." He explained with a straight face while observing the river as his hands were folded, "They're my relatives, actually." You added while looking at him. His emerald green eyes were filled with curiosity & other emotions you can't identify, "Still, they would do that because I'm charming." He stated with a grin. His grin was in keen, which you adored,
"I know, right-I mean they're right, but yeah I agree with them- Nevermind!" You retorted after you stoped yourself from talking quick. This is awkward. He chuckled by your sudden weirdness, which you looked away, but an idea popped in your mind, "Hey, sir. Why did you throw flowers on the river?" You asked him while still looking at him. He turned to look at you, which you were about to look away, "Well, there is a tradition of this land about finding a soulmate. You just have to throw enough flowers on any type of body water. If someone finds it and returns to you, they're your soulmate." He explained and ended it with a deep chuckle, "I'm such a childish gentlemen you know? I still continued that silly tradition." He stated with a laugh. You then picked up the flowers you were clutching a while ago, and tapped his shoulder, "Is this yours?" You asked him as you offered the flowers, which he turned to look at it and his expression changed into a surprised one,
"You...Found my flowers." He remarked while his emotion of surprise. You shyly looked at him with a small smile & replied, "Yeah, I did." There was silence between both of you. You slowly put down the flowers while your anxiety levels increased even more, "You're a pretty one, aren't ya?" He purred as his went to cup your cheek, "Heh...Thanks I guess?" NOW THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY! You removed his hand from your cheek feebly, "I forgot to mention my name. (Y/N)." You stated with smile. He nodded with a smirk & he replied, "KD." He then took your hand gently and kissed on top of it. The butterflies in your stomach increased the population & your heart was beating faster. He then let go of your hand and smiled at you.
In the tradition, when you finally found your soulmate, you have to stop throwing flowers on the body of water. Instead, you have to place a large leaf with two large flowers on top of it. Both of you must do it before the flowing slows down. You must do it every evening. It's optional to place small flowers around the huge flowers. If both of you were currently having a family, the child or children must place flowers. And history repeats itself.
I also forgot to mention that you & KD were able to place the large leaf thingy. Yup, both of you were in a relationship, and later marriage. It was a hilarious & peaceful relationship indeed.
Those purple flowers flowing on the river are still floating until the end. Who knows, perhaps both of you will unintentionally find them when both of you are in a far place.
Well, the long wait is finally over!
Yes, more lemons, more limes, more fantasy, & more crackfics.
