Narrator's POV

"Hey, uh, Dad?" You asked softly while both of you drank. Actually, you just drank fruit juice because you told your father that for you, alcohol is a waste of liquids from the darker depths of the underworld. I know, weird, "?" He murmured, "How did you & mom meet? Like, how you were able to steal her heart?" He was slightly surprised by your sudden question. What's the purpose of you, asking that stupid question? "Ya see, since I'm such a wicked-ass creature, I can get all the women I want, but no. Not all." He explained as you listened attentively, "Your mom was such a brave fighter from the Purgatory dimension, and I met her during a duel in the reign of war between hell & purgatory." He added, and paused to drink a shot.

"And, during our duel, I was impressed by her out-of-this-world skills. She died during her previous duel with one of bravest minions! Anyways, I was defeated, but I didn't die. I asked her for another round, &-" "She accepted the challenge?" You asked, "Of course. It was love at first fight." He replied dreamily, "I thought you hate love." You inquired, "I mean, I love to watch people suffer, and I love both of you." "Thanks, dad...Also, did you flirt with her?" "Why yes. She fell in love my stupid flirts to the point that she confessed to me to call her by cute nicknames. It was just in time." You nodded, and drank your juice, "Did you give her flowers? Chocolates?" He hummed after he swallowed the liquor, "I did give her chocolates, however I ate half of them." He replied in embarrassment. You laughed by his statement, "By the way, why are you asking? Curious how you were made?" He suggested with a grin, "Dad, no. Stop it please." You responded with a frown, "Haha, I'm just joking." He chuckled

"Well, because I like someone." You replied weakly, "Who? If it's from the heavens or land, I'll-" "No, dad. He's in here. He's one of us." You felt your cheeks just by thinking about him, "Hmm, lemme guess: It's &&&, right?" You shook your head, "+++?" You shook your head again with a hum, "You really want to know?" You asked him as you folded your arms, "Unless, I'll find out for myself." He responded with a small grin, "Okay okay. I'll tell the answer." You sighed & whispered to him, "K." He suddenly giggled & later laughed, "What's so funny? Is he a bad type?" You were a bit irritated by his unexpected emotion, "I knew it." He replied while still giggling, "Alright! You knew! So, how do I impress him?" He immediately grabbed your shoulder with a wicked grin on his face, "I'll tell you his weaknesses, likes & such more, (Y/n). So you can impress him like a boss." You were a bit scared by his sudden change of tone, but since he's your father, you just accept it.

"Hm? Boss stated that he left & will return in a few days? That's odd." He stated with wonder. This part of the plan, "And it stated that (Y/n) aka his daughter will take charge of the casino? Oh, she's an adult now." Yes, you are. You can't believe that the plan was working! He was convinced! "Now, time for plan B!" You murmured outside of your dad's office, "H-Hey!" Damnit! You stuttered & you forgot to knock! "Oh, I didn't expect you to be here." Just one look on his face, and you were melting, "Haha, yeah. So, I was charged to uh, you know." You do have knowledge on how to run the whole damn place, but your mind was swirling of images of him! Dear golly! "Run the place?" He corrected you with a smile. You were about to scream, "Yes! E-exactly! Run the place!" You firmly replied, except you stuttered, "Okay, Plan B was a bit perfect, & now for Plan C!" You pondered, "Hey, so I was wondering if-" You paused for a moment for you were getting shy. Anxiety levels began to slowly increase, decreasing your confidence, "If what?" He asked, "No, (Y/n)! Stick to the damn plan! Oh, I know!" An ideas popped up in your mind, "If we could, hangout?" You internally cringed, "I mean, it's your decision. I'm not forcing you to-" "Why of course! Why would I refuse an offer from a such an alluring doll like you!" He cheerfully responded. The adjective he used, made your heart ponder more...

"Hey, I was wondering if you have weaknesses." You stated while drinking juice again except it's a different flavor, "Weaknesses? Well, I have only a few weaknesses! The first one is-" He was interrupted when you used your finger to gently touched his shiny hair, "Oh, are you also curious about how-" "I really like your hair." You complimented with a smile, "It's perfect." You became dreamy as you used the same finger to curl some of his hair, "Why, thank you." He felt proud to himself. Screw the plans, you'll do on your own ways, "And y-your eyes," You started, "They are beautiful, as the emeralds themselves. As if I'm staring at those precious gems." KD was confused but not disappointed, "And your attire, is just-" You stopped yourself & took your drink, "I'm so sorry." You replied to him as you walked to one of the hallways.

"Hey, doll! Wait!" He called out, but you ignored him, "(Y/N)! You don't have to be sorry!" You stopped on your tracks, "I appreciated your words about me, and-" "May I kiss you?" You covered your mouth after you realized what you've just asked. You slowly looked away from him, and tears began to form from the corners of your eyes. You didn't stick to your father's plan, and he might be disappointed, "I-I am, so sorry once again. T-This will never happen again." You croaked out as tears started to roll down on your cheeks. He wasn't able to get you because you teleported with a bit of black particles, "I was about to say yes."

The next day, you went to his room, and thank goodness it's unlocked. You then placed a letter on the soft & silky mattress. It was a letter of apology: From your awkwardness to your sudden blurt of that stupid question. You sighed deeply, as you started to quietly run towards the door when suddenly, "Oh, (Y/N)-" A loud scream echoed through the hall & the bedroom. You were clumsy that time that you almost tripped backwards. The good thing was KD grabbed your waist to avoid you & the floor collide, "Ah, sorry for bursting! I was j-just-" "(Y/N), sweetie. No need to apologize once more. There's no reason to cry after the sudden question. After all, it was really unexpected from you." His words, were just odd yet made you confident to impress him, "W-what do you mean, sir?" He chuckled at your confusion, "What I meant is that, how you tried to impress me made me admire you more." You were speechless at the moment.

"You were determined to make me happy, but the truth is that I'm the happiest king when you exist. Even though you can be shy often, you can be confident in most times." You just couldn't believe it. Tears began to form from your eyes again, but it's the tears of joy, "Aww, don't cry, my love." He cooed as he knelt down to your level to wipe off your tears using his gloved hands, and at the same time cupping your flustered cheeks, "You sometimes act like your dad to be honest. Crying(Dev, I'm so sorry)." You laughed at his words. Yeah, that's true. Like father & daughter.

"So, what now?" You asked him as your tears began to stop, "Yes, you may." He replied, and before anything else, you asked, "What?" and he kissed you on the lips. It's just a soft kiss yet it felt needy. After a couple of seconds, you realized what he meant, "T-thanks?" You were in your sheepish state, but then again, his presence made you confident. He stood up, and at the right moment, you tip toed to kiss him back, but he's just too tall, "Seriously." You groaned out when you weren't to kiss, resulting him chuckling & leaning to kiss you. Again, you became red, "Such a cutie." KD murmured with a smile that you eventually heard it lmao.

"How was it?" Your dad asked you while sitting on his velvet chair. You suddenly smiled in a goofy manner, "Hm? What happened between you?" He was confused by your sudden smile, "We," You started but you began to giggle, "Did you guys sin?" Hearing his question, you nodded, "Except the down part. Only the upper part." You replied with a small smile, "Still, both of you sinned. Congrats. And is he a good kisser?" "Dad! Let's not talk about that, okay?"
