Synopsis: Gods & humans respected each other, from the supreme gods to the lesser ones. One goddess created mischief & belonged to the shadows saw a powerful king...& it went chaotic.

Narrator's POV

Gods respected the mortals & they were free to choose who ever they worship. The gods' purpose was to maintain the balance between good & bad. There was a small group of siblings who were between the level of supreme & less. In spite that, they were well-respected by the mortals' society.

The first & the eldest among the 4 was named Alcantro: the god of music & arts. The second eldest was named Maripos: the goddess of butterflies & moths. The third god was named, Fer Ghen: the god of void & nightmares & finally, the youngest of all was named, (Y/N): The goddess of mischief & shadow.

You were all shenanigans in the mortal world, which means that people were annoyed by your clever tricks. One thing they cannot avoid is the shadow. You can hide any shadow of a person or a thing, just to play tricks on them. Of course, your siblings will be disappointed especially the eldest one, "(Y/N), I know you do tricks but what if someone might even cast a spell on you?" Alcantro confronted you in one afternoon in the heavens. You just shrugged it off, assuring him that you will create a chaos if they do.

One day, 4 of the siblings entered to another place in the mortal world just to enjoy more time here. You guys enjoyed this place due to the nature being rich here & the types of people can be found. The place was in a stronger empire where a king was asking to meet 4 of you for good reasons: confronting.
"Alright! So it says in the compass that we should go-" "How about follow my butterflies? They know the way." Maripos asked Ghen while he was looking at the compass, "That's a great idea, sister." Alcantro replied with a smile, "By the way, where's (Y/N)?" Ghen asked with concern. Indeed, your older siblings loved you a lot. They began to search for you while they follow the butterflies.

Apparently, you were the first one to go to his strong & wide castle. You smirked when you opened the huge door that was 3 times your height. And how you were the first one? You hopped on shadow to shadow. That's one ability that it's too easy for you, "Where's the king?" You asked one of the guards as your black cape flew slightly, "He's in his room, would you like me to call him?" "No, I'll find him. After all, I'm a goddess." You chuckled proudly & you began to glide gracefully on the purple velvety carpet. You went the east hall, & you finally found his room after popping your head through the shadows to check. You fixed yourself a bit & knocked the door, "Come in." Hearing his faint voice, made you frown in disgust. It sounded smoky that made you cringe internally. Opening the door with creaking noises, you saw the king in his office with a quill on his right hand. You suddenly choked a bit by his alluring appearance. You sighed quietly as you went to the shadow of his bookshelf at the corner of his large office. A wicked trick was in your mind, 'Maybe, I can surprise him!' You pondered the thought.

You slowly crept behind him as shadowy particles surrounded you. You expected him to be all scared, just like other mortals- "I can sense that the mischievous yet beautiful goddess wanted to lay a trick on me, right?" That word shot your heart like an arrow from cupid, and it really aches! You then pushed yourself against the wall beside the bookshelf, making you sat up against it. You were clutching your chest with your left hand as your eyes went wide full of shock. In other words, you hated when you're blushing, "Oh, I didn't see you there, (Y/N). So how's your tricks, hm?" He asked you innocently like nothing happened at all. Your face formed an annoyed expression & a faint growl escaped from your throat, "One of them was failure!" You sternly replied as you felt more heart aches & your breath went deeper, "Oh really? Sorry to hear that, for I believed that you always succeed." He pretended to be sincere, which was pretty good. This is horrible. Your left hand stopped clutching your chest & you sighed deeply as your titled your head while your eyes went to the side. You did take a few moments to look at him though.

His gorgeous green eyes, his slicked back hair & his attire. You just wanted to punch him for making him weak, "A-anyways, your majesty, what are we here for?" You also included your siblings in this weird meeting, "Well, it's about you & your shenanigans. My people were reporting about your wicked tricks, so I decided to call 4 of you to meet me." You also forgot to mention that his voice, was not just smoky but also husky. This was far worse than his looks, "So what about it? I AM the goddess of mischief & shadows! It's my habit!" You retorted as you stood up to dust off your godly attire: A long sleeved dark purple dress that reached to your ankle with emerald green stones around the hem of the skirt, "I know that, (Y/N) however," Your expectations went high that he will give you some shivers down your spine in short he will lower his voice, "Would it be nice for to, you know," Thank goodness he wasn't able to continue his sentence when his colleague opened the door, "Your highness, the gods are here." He nodded with a smile & he left the door open, "Also he should have closed the door." You quickly remarked as you went to close it, except you went outside. Hence, making him being closed inside,"Finally!" You exclaimed & you immediately rushed to the throne room to your siblings. Then again, your heart ached once more, making you curling your hands into fists. You were clouded with frustration.

"There's our little sister-" Ghen paused when she saw you, all red as a strawberry &  your fists getting tighter, "(Y/N)! Are you alright?" Maripos asked you with a worried expression on her face. You gritted your teeth, & stomped away to stand beside Ghen. There was no words coming from your mouth. You folded your arms & groaned as you looked away. They all shared glances to each other but shrugged it off, "Well, dear gods & goddesses. Thank you for your time to enter my palace." He announced with a grin, "Don't worry about it, your highness." Alcantro replied with a deep bow. The king then turned to your direction, only to see you frowning. He chuckled a bit at your form, "Anyways, I recommend that 4 of you to take rest for a bit-" "We're not tired!" You hissed out in annoyance as your face went even redder. The king & your 3 other siblings looked at you, confused.

"(Y/N)? What's wrong? Did someone harmed you or anything?" Alcantro asked you as he began to go beside you to rub your back, "Perhaps, she's uneasy at this moment." The king replied with a worried expression. You glared at him, as you continued to stay in an angry form.
Time passed by, and you were less cold-hearted towards KD, and well, he obviously flirted with you for your siblings entertainment. Not just that but also he admired your clever & bold attitude. Additionally, you began to slowly fall in love with him, and you hated it. Thanks to your siblings support & encouragements, you were able to treat love as a special emotion that you still want to get rid of it.

"Ugh, why are you attractive?!" You retorted to the king while he drank one of the finest wine, & you drank water, "Am I that attractive?" He asked you, not because he wanted to be narcissistic but he wanted to tease you, "Of course! Whenever I look at your alluring green eyes, I would almost cry or even hide into the shadows so I can cope myself!" You explained as you created more gestures that were exaggerated, "How about when I," He then moved his hand so he can touch on top of your hand on your table & squeezed it gently, "hold your hand?" You groaned in annoyance that you swiftly removed your hand from his, "Same thing, duh." You barked with a frown. You sighed softly & drank a few gulps of H2O, for the sake of your sanity. You then leaned against his chest while you muttered curses, relevant to regrets, "So, I guess you wanted me to, well, cuddle with you?" He murmured as he snaked his arm around your waist, "Do whatever you want, your highness. You're the king an-MMF?!" A soft yet long kiss was placed on your lips as you struggled to part, but, "You weren't that clever enough to trick me, huh?" He proudly remarked with a grin. You were dumfounded by his sudden action that made your heart exploded into bloody slices. Your only response was a loud gulp due to your mind filled with suggestive thoughts & your face getting warmer & redder, "Heh. You did trick me, your majesty." You replied with a small smile.

"Anyways, is it alright for a god to marry a mortal?" He asked you as he sipped little wine. D didn't noticed that you were about to kiss his, uh, neck, "Oh, uh. It's alright!" You replied as you regained your posture. Damn, you were almost there! But hey, you were able to embrace him & nuzzle his shoulder.

Before the day ends, you whispered in his ear, "I love you." & wrapped your arms around his neck & your legs around his hips. You were fully aware that this position suggested many sleazy thoughts, but that's love anyways. He responded the same thing to you as everything went smooth. Meanwhile, you did more tricks except it's on bad people, not the good ones. And you being a queen? Of course you became his, and you're still the goddess of mischief & shadow.
