Thief Of Luck

OH BOI...Lime+fantasy

Note 1: I know the title is based on Homestuck aka my old fandom.Despite that, It gave me inspiration to make this oneshot.

Synopsis: A lot of reports of someone stealing "luck" which means whenever the good side would bet, they would always win, which made the villainous bastards groaned in defeat & anger or hunt them down. KD was ordered to find the culprit, while the thief watched him from afar with curiosity and perhaps love.

Narrator's POV

"Phew! They were able to survive from those bastards!" You exclaimed to yourself while walking slowly to regain energy. You're the thief of luck, which means you can "steal" or manipulate the luck in objects that represented the luck in them. It's in your veins to have that powers of yours. You would wear sweaters or sweatshirts with black & metallic themed. You used your stealth to make the innocent who bet their souls to escape free. One more thing, you would always were sunglasses to cover your eyes. People doesn't mind it though.

It was a calm & cold night, and you were sitting on the highest tree in the town. It's your favorite place to spy on random people, "Geez, it's kinda boring!" You groaned in boredom. You can jump around tree to tree, but you're tired. You suddenly heard loud mumbling from below. You took a peek, and saw a familiar man from that casino where you saved those brothers from that evil creature. One of your greatest achievements, "Oh wow, it's King (insert an insult to his name). How pathetic!" You whispered to yourself.

"Accordin' to th' boss, it lives here." You heard him remarking with curiosity. He just called you it. Now that made you mad, "Seriously? I'm a lady!" You exclaimed with a frown, which he heard it, "Who's there?" He shouted to the tree, "Nobody!" You squeaked loudly, which made you embarrassed of your actions, "Really? Then why do I hear a doll's voice?" You already heard his charming & deep voice, and made you cringe a bit, "Dolls doesn't talk by themselves! Unless it's robot!" You exclaimed with confidence while stifling your laughs due to his stupidity, "I meant ya', doll~." He remarked with a grin. You sighed deeply, and decided to show yourself. You jumped on the strong branches, and landed safely. When he saw you, butterflies were in his stomach, and you were aware. And when you saw him, looking at you with curiosity & an emotion which you don't want to mention, you felt weirded out yet felt safe, "I am the Thief of Luck. I, manipulate & steal for myself & other innocent people who were about to fall into the trap." You introduced yourself with a tint of melancholy. He did recognized your deep guilt by your voice, "Now, since I know you & I introduced myself. I am guilty for saving those boys' souls." You looked down in defeat. Actually, you decided to make this a little fun, "Unless I flipped this coin." You murmured while you took a golden coin. Still shiny indeed, "Flipping a coin, eh? I bet it will land on heads!" He smugly exclaimed which made you even hate him, "Tails." You simply replied, and flipped the coin up in the air. When the coin was about to go down, you moved down your shades, and directly focused on the coin to land on tails. But, KD caught you which he then snatched your shades. The coin fell on the leafy ground, and you yelped in surprise, "Give me that!" You retorted as you tried to get it back, "My, my~ Such beautiful eyes you have, sweetheart~" He purred as he lifted his hand to make the situation more difficult. You took a glance of the coin, and exclaimed, "Hey! It landed heads!" "Wait, really?" He asked with a huge grin. You quickly took your sunglasses, which he immediately noticed that but were swift enough, "Such a smart gal~" He purred again while he looked at you in the eyes.

You felt butterflies flying around inside your stomach. This is bad, not because it's against the rules but you don't want to see the ultimate result, "Y-Yeah! I-I'm smart!" You yelled at him with your cheeks getting red, "Actually, it's tails!" He exclaimed with a sudden change of emotion. He's astonished & curiosity, "Indeed, you're the pretty culprit." He smirked at you while his green eyes filled with a mix of smugness, "Yeah yeah! Anyways, bye!" You walked away from him, but he grabbed your hand using his gloved hand, "Ugh! What do you want?" You retorted as you looked at him. His face had a shade of his color, "I won't tell anybody about this." He sternly replied with a grin. You don't trust him at all, but, "Oh really? For a fact you're the right hand man?!" You retorted with anger, "No, I promise." He replied quickly. You stared into his eyes while he watched your eyes started to glow dimly, "Hmm..." You thought as you folded your arms, "Fine then! And make sure to stop calling me those stupid nicknames!" You exclaimed as you started to jump up to your spot as he watched the perfect view, "Alright then, dollface~" He replied in a teasing way, "Ugh! What did I just told you, King Dice?" You yelled at him as you continued to jump.

"Alright, I won't do it again!" He yelled back from below, "Anyways! Please return to your place!" You yelled back as you comfortably laid down on the huge branch, "Very well, good night, dear." He murmured loudly, which you heard it. You ignored him, as you slowly fall asleep. He stole your heart-

Wait...

He stole your heart?! That's unfair! You're  the thief, not him!

Both of you became fast friends, as you continued to help other people-who-will-be-unlucky, while creating a lovely relationship with the king.
