Your school uniform hung from a set of hangers on your closet door. It was red and black, your school colors, with spots of white here and there. The newly embroidered crest on the blazer stuck out like a sore thumb. And your new black shoes had been placed underneath, waiting for the moment to be slipped on for the first time.

Your alarm clock had finally weaved its way into your brain but you still laid there, motionless. That is, until two fingers started squishing your cheeks.

"Wake up~" a voice cooed. "It's your frist day of school, dongsaeng."

You groaned and cracked your eyes open. The light from your room blinded you and moved to where Hoseok's head blocked it. "I don't wanna."

"Come on!" Hoseok urged. "You're going to have a fun time!"

You sat up and rubbed the sleep from your eyes. "Did Jin cook breakfast?" you asked.

"Of course!" Hoseok chuckled. "Since when are you not thinking about food?"

"Never," you responded.

Hoseok nodded and then walked over to your door. "Get dressed and then you can come eat, okay?" He then left, quietly the shutting the door behind him.

You stood up and grabbed your uniform, throwing it on rather quickly. You made sure it was straight and you realized how stiff it was. Pretty soon I'll be getting a new because this one will be mere threads after Christmas, you thought. You then did the other essential morning routine items and you assumed you were ready.

You skipped down the stairs. "Jimin!" you yelled.

"(Y/N)!" A voice responded, followed by Jimin poking his head out from the kitchen. "What 'cha want?"

"Can you do my hair?" you asked, pointing to your (H/C) hair that was lying on your shoulders. You had left it down, but you decided that it just didn't look right like that.

"Sure! What do you want?"

You thought for a moment. "What do you think?"

He grabbed your hand and pulled into the dining room. "Sit," he instructed, pointing to the chair you normally sat in. You obeyed, and then felt Jimin run his hands through your hair.

"Are you excited for today?" he questioned, starting a conversation as he began working on a fish tail braid.

"No, not really," you replied. "Well, I guess I am. I'm just really nervous."

Jimin nodded. "You'll do fine. I know it. You brought a hair tie, didn't you?"

You held up a black band. "Yup."

Jimin snatched it and tied off your braid. "Ta-da!"

You flipped it over your shoulder and smiled. "You're really good, Chim."

"I've been doing this since you were six or seven, so yeah," Jimin grinned.

You two walked into the kitchen and you immediately became hungry once you smelled the cooking food.

"There's our high school student," Namjoon chuckled seeing you walk in.

"Try to survive on your first day, okay?" Yoongi asked. "Don't be like Taehyung and already be failing Art class because you didn't bring your supplies."

Taehyung shrugged. "I didn't fail. I just got a zero for participation that week."

"You mean they start grades the first day!?" you gasped. "I am going to fail, huh?"

Jungkook shook his head. "That teacher is long gone. She moved to the states for some reason. The new art teacher is great. She lets you go outside to paint if you want and listen to music in class."

"Besides," Jin said, turning around. "You didn't sign up for art this year."

You nodded your head. "True." You took a seat on a barstool and placed your head in your hands. "Any last words of encouragement for me before I go face my doom?"

"Dongsaeng, you still have to eat breakfast," Hoseok giggled. "Then we'll wish you the best before Jungkook walks you to school."

Jungkook choked on his water. "I thought Jin was taking her."

"I'm too old apparently," Jin snipped, glaring at Jungkook. "You think I didn't hear you last night? This is your punishment."

Jungkook rolled his eyes. "Whatever."

"So am I getting a good last meal?" you asked, leaning over to see what Jin was cooking.

"Of course! I cook the best for you," the oldest Kim cooed. He turned the stove off and fixed your plate, sliding it across the counter to you. You grinned when you noticed it was your favorite and you dove into it immediately.

"So when you get home later today," Taehyung started. "You will tell me everything that happened, okay?"

You nodded, chewing happily on the hot food.

"Yes," Yoongi agreed. "Give us the whole run down."

"I will," you complied. "Don't worry."

Soon, you slid off the stool and Namjoon handed you your backpack. He held the straps for you slip your arms through and you kissed him goodbye before he went back upstairs to his room. You repeated your good byes to the rest of your siblings as you walked out with Jungkook behind you.

"Have fun!"
