Inspired after the fact that my senior friend has graduated :((
But thank you, BTS, for helping me realize that friends don't have to be your age and that not all seniors are stuck-up brats.

Today was the day your brother would get into his pristine, white robe and cap. You were walking out of your second period class when you saw Jungkook come out of the bathroom with his hair all fancy. He noticed you and winked before being called out by one of his friends. You sighed, realizing that your brother would be graduating in just a week. No more walks to school with him or hair tugs as you walked to your classes. You were going to be alone your first year of high school and you could already feel the anxiety rising up. Before you know it, you were crying as you went to your third period class as break started.
"Why are you crying?" your friend asked, rubbing your shoulder as you sobbed.
"Jungkook is graduating," you cried, probably looking like an over dramatic teenager.
"It isn't that bad," your friend giggled. "He's not leaving forever."
"But what if he does?" you questioned, nose beginning to run.
"Oh, he won't," your friend reassured.
You continued to cry as you went to your desk and plopped down. Your teacher, who favored you and Jungkook, went to ask you what was wrong, but your friends stopped her. She told her why you were crying. Your teacher, Mrs. Ryu, nodded and then smiled, knowing your brother would be walking in on your class later to hang up his robe and to finish some stuff for his wills and yearbook section.
Your break ended and class began. Your class started like normal and your meltdown quieted down. Your teacher started her lesson and went on with class until she heard a knock at the door. Mrs. Ryu told her students to be quiet, for she knew it was your brother, and she wanted to have a little chat with your brother in the hallway. She opened the door and before your brother could barge in, your teacher pushed him to the hallway and explained what was going on. It wasn't long before they came back in and Jungkook quickly got out his cap and robe.
"(Y/N)..." you heard him whine. "Why are you crying?"
You had already stopped crying, but now you felt like crying even more. "Because you're graduating, and I don't want you to leave."
"Oh, hush," he chuckled. "I'm not leaving. I'm pretty sure I'm stuck with you until you get out on your own."
"But you probably want to leave me," you pouted, slamming your head onto your desk.
"Honey," he joked, causing a few of your classmates to laugh. "I'm not going to leave you. I'm just leaving school. I'm still going to be at home. Besides, have I ever rejected a hug?"
"No," you murmured. "But you might later because you'll be in college."
Your teacher laughed. "College doesn't change anything, (Y/N)."
"Yeah," Jungkook agreed. "Plus, college is hard and I might need a hug or two, myself.
"If you're worried that I'm going to drift away from you now that I'm not in high school, don't. I'm no going anywhere. I'm not going to treat you any differently. Don't cry, please. I hate that."
You were quiet for a few seconds before saying, "I feel like a baby."
Your teacher smiled before shoving Jungkook towards the back of the class. "Alright, you got stuff to work on. Get on with it."
