"I swear," Jungkook moaned. "If Jin doesn't kill me, I don't know what will." He ran down the sidewalk, his lungs asking him why he was doing so much intense exercise but Jungkook would rather die from his lungs collapsing then to witness Jin's raging wrath. Your brother had left you at the store while you had been using the bathroom. You had come out and when you saw that your brother was no where in sight, you didn't feel like running off to find him, but you made him come fetch you instead.
As for you, you were fuming in the grocery store's office. You had told them that your brother had left you there and that you would appreciate it if they could call him. You would have yourself but you had lost your phone privileges due to a poor test grade a few days ago. You would have just waited outside for him to come collect you and take you home, but no, the old woman said you had stay in the office so you don't run off or get abducted.
Jungkook rushed into the grocery store and he would've bolted straight for an employee to ask where you were but Jin called him.
"Where are you? You were supposed to be home fifteen minutes ago," the older asked.
"Uh... Um..." Jungkook panted, not wanting to tell his brother what he had done.
"Hello? Answer."
"Please, please, PLEASE don't kill me," Jungkook started.
"What did you do now?"
"I may or may not have left (Y/N) at the grocery store and didn't realize it until I was a block away from our house."
The line was silent. There wasn't even a single breath or white noise. After what seemed like decades, Jin finally answered him. "You really shouldn't tell me these things when I have a knife in my hand." He sighed. "Be home in ten or I'll be chopping something else and not just carrots."
Once Jungkook hung up, he raced over and blurted out his ordeal to some random employee. The boy, probably fifteen and was working without pay, stuttered before pointing to the back of the store. "Please don't hurt m-"
But Jungook didn't care about the boy's fear. His legs carried him to where he was instructed and he didn't even bother knocking. He threw open the door to see you there with a frail old lady across from you.
"Don't you dare blame me," you hissed, seeing his eyes go narrow as he glared at you.
"It's your fault for being so quiet."
"I wasn't even there! I was in the bathroom!"
"Exactly."
