(Y/n).
I run through the streets huffing. My locket tightly in my grasp. I didn't stop. Not even as my body began to ache. I turned on a street with lots of lights. The guy grabbed me and I fell. A scream left my lips as the locket left my hands. Turning me back into a wolf. No. Oh, Irene help me. "You stupid mutt!" I whimper and reached for my locket. "No you stupid mutt!" He stabbed my hand and I couldn't help but scream in pain. Still, I went to my locket. There was yelling. The last thing I saw was a blue-haired girl.
Katelyn.
On my Irene what do I do?! I really don't like wolves or werewolves for that matter. But this one is injured. I pick up the locket and looked at the wolf. Travis was coming down the street. "Hey, Travis! Can you carry this husky into my apartment? Its hurt," I say. "Hmm okay. Time to show off my pegs." I roll my eyes. Why did I ask this idiot for help? I follow him inside and then tell him to leave once done. I bandage the paw and let the thing rest. Setting the locket on my table. "Katelyn-sauna. Did you get a dog," Kawaii-Chan asked? "Uh no. It was injured outside so I brought it in," I say. "Oh. It's cute. Can we name it," Kawaii-Chan asked? "No Kawaii-Chan," I say sighing. She goes and I'm left alone. The wolf woke up about an hour later. I was thinking of leaving when it did. A girl transformed. She had (Y/h/c) hair. (F/c) ears and tail. And (e/c) eyes that held something in them. "Oh um hi." The girl sat there staring at me. "Well this is awkward," I say feeling slightly unprepared. The girl opened her mouth but nothing came out. She stood up. "I'm Katelyn by the way," I reply. No sound or answer.
(Y/n).
She seems frightened. I wonder what I have done this time. I want to say something but my throat is close up. So I tilt my head and look at her. She's the girl who saved me. Blue hair, blue eyes, pale complexion. Is this girl a ghost. Oh my, Irene am I talking to a ghost?! Have I died?! I look at my hand to see a bandage in the middle. "Oh, I had to bandage it so the bleeding will stop. There's nothing on it of course." I nodded feeling provoked. Did that airheaded freak take my locket? Why the hell am I here? I opened my mouth and utter "locket." The girl nodded and went somewhere. She returned with my locket. I put it on feeling relieved. This way I can keep a steady form. "Thanks," I mumble. She nodded and showed me the way out. Damn am I that unwanted? Well, it doesn't really matter since I have to go anyway. "Listen if that ever happens again. Don't hesitate to come here," Katelyn, I think, said. I stare at her and nod slowly. No one has ever said that to me before. This girl was clearly frightened. But she was kind enough to open her home. Too bad I can't accept that. "Oh, Katelyn! You never told me about your werewolf friend!" I turn to see the girl. She had an alpha's sent on her body and clothing. It put me on guard. There was a boy here too. Alpha? No can't be. He's too scrawny. I stepped back and bare my canines. Making them stop. "She acts like a pup," the girl with the alpha's sent said. "I must go," I state and start walking. Pulling up my hood so my face is concealed. Weird. Katelyn has this strong calling. Like I'm supposed to watch out for her. She can't be my mate can she? No. I can't have a mate. Mates aren't for people like me. Mates are for people who aren't running. Yet I feel drawn to her. I need to learn more. From a werewolf or something with a mate. I suddenly bumped into someone. I looked up to see a boy. His eyes were a dull color and his black hair covered his forehead. He smelt off. It kinda reminded me of the scent of that girl. "Hello?" I jump and bare my teeth. "I'm Aaron. You are?" I hide my ears and tail. "(R/n)," I muttered. "Funny. We don't see werewolves often," he says. "Then you must not look in the mirror," I say. Aaron's eyes go wide. "You're scent is all over that girl. You're her mate right," I asked? "W-what no!" "Oh. Well, I must be on my way," I say walking on. "How did you even get here," Aaron asked? "I just simply walked." I continue on. The streets and people hid me well. I didn't stand out and I didn't need to. I head to a library. That can help me. "Hello. Do you have a section on werewolves," I asked? "Ah yes. It's down there." I'm pointed in the right direction. Once there I pull out all the books on mates and mating.
Mates vary from witches to humans, to other werewolves. It's common to have a mate that is a werewolf. But sometimes diverse werewolves, those who have different childhoods, will most likely be attracted to something else. They would often go after a class with high skill. So a witch or wizard. But some of the werewolves would go after humans.
"Yeah, but why humans," I groan flipping through pages. Finally, I find a page.
Werewolves might find humans attractive because of the dominant state. Humans are weaker of the subjects. They can easily be dominated likely. They can easily be used too."
I drop the book quickly. So did not need to know that. And that isn't helpful at all. Humans aren't that weak really? This is so confusing.
