Katelyn.
I woke up sunshine happy. My every nerve was lit on fire. When I glanced into the mirror, there was a huge smile on my face. I hope it stayed that way for a very long time. Aph came over today. "You seem happy Katelyn. What's up," Aph asked? I smile against my mug at the thought of last night. "It's just this girl I'm seeing," I explain. "Remedy right?" My stomach revolts at the name. "No. We hit it off and then everything just went south. I'm seeing another person," I say. Looking over my shoulder at the door. She did say she was going to come today. Nothing personal but I wanted Aphmau to leave so I can see her. "Really?! That's amazing! When can I meet her," Aph asked? I bite the inside of my cheek. "Maybe one day," I say. There was a knock on the door. I got up smiling. Hoping it was (Y/n). And hoping it wasn't her at the same time. It wasn't her. The smile instantly fell from my face when I saw Gene. "Can I help you, Gene? I'm kinda busy," I say. "I just wanted to know if you saw Dante anywhere," Gene says. "No, I haven't." It made me worry if (Y/n) was hanging out with Dante. Why wouldn't she come to me first? Look at me. I sound like one of those stupid controlling girlfriends. (Y/n) doesn't come for the whole day. There's a knock at my window late at night and I rush to open it. "Why didn't you come earlier," I asked? "I was about to. But Gene showed up and then he was wandering the streets," (Y/n) says. I pull her to my bed. "Did you see Dante today? That's who Gene was looking for," I say. "Nope. How was your day," (Y/n) asked? "Well, it was nothing like being chased. But it was fun all the less," I say. I catch a glimpse of the ink on (Y/n)'s hand. "What's that?" I push her sleeve up to see a tattoo. A whole sleeve of them. A bird, chains, books, and a quote. "I got a tattoo when I was about eighteen. I'm surprised you haven't seen it yet," (Y/n) says. "I know right. Why chains," I asked? I got the bird. That symbolizes freedom. I got the book. Knowledge. And the quote. Freedom is only given to those who fight. Not those who think they control it. But the chains was a mystery. "Well fear holds you down, doesn't it? So I decided chains were the best way to show it," (Y/n) replied. "I didn't know you had feared. For the most part, I thought you were fearless." "It's a battlefront Blue. That was like the first lesson I taught you." I smile and nod. Rubbing my nose against hers. (Y/n) pouts. "That's my thing Blue." "Now it's mine." (Y/n) laughs and shakes her head. We stay up talking. Until I'm tired. "You should go to bed." "I'm fine." (Y/n) picks me up and sets me in bed. "Can you lay with me," I asked softly. Hoping she won't deny. "Why?" "Because I just want you to. Please?" (Y/n) sighed. "Fine." I smile on triumph. Curling up as she lays down. I bury myself in the werewolf. And then went to sleep.
(Y/n).
I look at the girl. She's so weird. This is what humans do? Really? It's nice in a sort of way. But it still new. I smile though. It's so easy around Blue. She's easy in to talk to. To laugh with. She's easy to see through. She doesn't judge me. Mate. The books say a mate is someone who breaks you down easily. Someone who won't judge you. No matter what, I'm glad I found her. Even though it was an uncontrollable rollercoaster with a lot of bumps. "You know Blue. I might just happen to love you," I mumble. Careful not to wake the beautiful girl up.

Sorry I wasn't updating. Everything was going crazy and life took me by surprise. Until the next chapter......
