Katelyn.
Irene, it's cold. I shouldn't have come out this late. But we needed the groceries. And I said I would do it. Kawaii-Chan is sick. She had gotten a fever and can't get out of bed. I feel eyes on me and then someone is in front of me with a gun. "Where's subject 5?" "Who," I asked? "Subject 5. The girl you saved," the man says. I'm flipped onto a wall and the gun is aimed at my head. My eyes widen as more people come. "Tell me where she is! You convicted felon!" "I don't know! Leave me alone!" I tried getting them off of me but to them, it was as if piece of rice. They all laughed and shot a bullet up. My heart was racing fast. "I'll only tell you one last time. Tell me where she is," the man says. "Right behind you," a voice growls. They all turned around and one was sent flying. "Catch her!" Shots were fired leaving me frozen in place. But that girl dodged all of them. She moved quickly. Landing lightning-fast punches and kicks. The guys were spitting out blood and dropping to the ground like flies. They all were unconscious now. The girl looked at me. Her breaths were heavy as she stood up. Blood seemed to be on her knuckles but she just wiped it off. "T-thanks," I say. "Did they hurt you?" I shake my head quickly. "Good. I'll escort you to your house so they don't hurt you," she says. "I don't even know your name," I say. "It's (Y/n)," she mutters pulling up her Hood. I grab my bags and we start walking. In perfect silence. She stops on the street on the street where it's pure dark. "Do you want anything? You aren't hurt right," I asked turning to her? "I'm fine. You shouldn't be followed anymore," (Y/n) says. "Thank you. How did you know they will be there," I asked? "I didn't. I was just in the area I guess," (Y/n) mutters. "Where will you stay," I asked? I don't really know why I care so much. "I got it covered. Sleep well tonight," (Y/n) says. "Ah, thanks again." I start up my driveway when she grabs my arm. "I-I want to say thanks. For saving me back there," (Y/n) whispers with her head down. "Think nothing of it," I say as she releases me. (Y/n) nods and turns away. I watch as she walks away. Her head down the whole way. She's a weird one. I never saw a werewolf act like that. They were always so... Yeah, let's not think about that. I get into the house and place down the groceries. "What took you so long Katelyn~sama," Kawaii-Chan asked? "It was really crowded in the store," I lied. I wasn't really shown how to handle it. So maybe keeping it to myself will be best.
(Y/n).
My stomach was turning in knots as I climbed the building. It was abandoned making it a perfect place to stay. It was away from the city. And the sky was beautiful here. It wasn't like your regular house. I sat down and looked outside. Why did I show up? That puts me more at risk. She's useless really. I don't even know her really. What the hell is wrong with me?! No, the girl saved you (Y/n). At least you can return the favor, right? Ugh, these stupid feelings! If I could I would just throw them out the window. Throw them into the sky and let them fly away. But that's too easy right. I'm pulled out of my thoughts by the rumble in my stomach. I whimper and hold my stomach. Stop being a baby (Y/n). You survived worst.
Katelyn.
From that point on I tried forgetting the incident. There's no need for remembering the past. It's in the past for a reason. But my nerves were still jumbled up. It was a constant threat over my shoulder. I wanted to know what the hell was happening and why. But likely I didn't see (Y/n) anymore. Not even near my house. I always got the feeling I was being watched. But she never did show up. It was weird. The way she did like that. Maybe she was just strolling by. I sigh and get back to work. Knowing that thinking about it won't do me any good. There was a knock on my door. Sighing I went to go get it. Thinking Kawaii-Chan forgot her key. She does that a lot. But to my surprise it's (Y/n). She looked fine and normal. "Hey," I say. "H-hi. I-I was strolling by and..." "Decided to stop by? You know I hear that a lot," I say. "Y-yeah. W-well I wanted to make sure you weren't you know. Dead," (Y/n) says. "Well I'm not," I say. Her lips twitch. And I could only assume she was going to smile. "That's good to hear for once. Many people who meet me aren't really alive after the first day," she says. Her eyes regarding me. Goosebumps covered my arms. "That isn't a funny joke to make," I say. "It isn't a joke," (Y/n) says. I bite the inside of my mouth as she leans against the railing. "I-I got to hand it to you blue. Y-you seem like you can hold your own." "Who said I couldn't?" "M-me." She looked at me, something was in her eyes. "B-but I have to go. G-glad to see you aren't dead," (Y/n) says. I watch as she walks away. Pulling up her hood so she can't see anything. What is up with her? She only comes around when she wants to. And it's not like she needs anything. No (Y/n) comes around just to come to check up on me. It's like she doesn't care and does at the same time.
