Katelyn.
After the little fiasco (Y/n) seemed to be in a much more comfortable mood. Especially when she was around me. Which I didn't mind. I mean why would I? All that was left was to talk to my father. Then the night was over. I waited until the end of the party. For when we were alone to do this. And I had good reason. Dad is pretty tricky to get across to. All my other dates never met his eye and usually fled the next day. So I wasn't ready for this. I grabbed (Y/n)'s hand. "Last straw (Y/n/n). We need to get everything out in the open now okay," I mumble. "What's everything Blue," (Y/n) asked? "Well obviously nothing with Gene. But that you're a werewolf. That's it, to say the least," I say. (Y/n) clicked her tongue. She gave me a half of smile and nodded. "Okay. We should catch him before he leaves though," (Y/n) comments. "Right." I pull her along the way. Stopping dad before he left the house.
Archer.
"Dad this is (Y/n). And (Y/n) this is my dad, Eric," Kate says. "Nice to meet you, sir," I say shaking his hand. "The pleasure is all mine. Now before I ask my questions Katelyn you are not allowed to answer," Eric says. Katelyn frowns and I chuckle. Put at ease for the time being. "Where did you two meet," Eric asked? "I was actually hurt. There was a car crash. Luckily Kate was there to help," I say. "Well, Katelyn is a lifesaver. Why did you pick my daughter," Eric asked? I give a small grin. "As you said Kate is a lifesaver. Well, I decided to keep the lifesaver to myself. Don't know when else I'll be in need of her saving," I say. Among other things. Eric laughs. It was easy answering these questions. Not just because Kate was next to me. But because they were true. "Well, I must be heading out. It was a pleasure to meet you (Y/n). I hope I see more of you," Eric says. "It was also a pleasure. I'm glad I met you, sir," I say. Eric leaves and Kate closes the door. She turns and smiles at me. "You were great! He seemed to like you," she exclaims. "I'm glad. It was easy," I say. "Yeah says the girl who was freaking out earlier." I scowled at her. "Let's go to bed already," I say. I heard a soft thud and go to cover Kate's mouth. I hear it again and grab onto her waist. Ready to make a bolt for it. Slowly I lower my hand and pull Kate along. We fall back into a dark corner silent. But Kate's bright hair is a dead give away. With a sudden movement, I have my hoodie off. The lights go off. You can't just give us a break huh Irene? You always got to have a freaking show to watch. I pull the jacket on Kate. Going quick so the noise isn't pinpoint.
Katelyn.
We hear quick stomping and then we're surrounded. Remedy stands in the middle. Irene. Why did I show her where I lived? Why? "I'm sorry to ruin your night. But we have business to do." I glance and see everyone agitated. Okay, what did I learn? There's got to be something I can do here. Red dots from guns hit my skin. My eyes dart to (Y/n). Her eyes are blank of emotion like always. "Now we can do this the easy way. Or we can fight and you guys die," Remedy says. I clench my fists ready for a brawl. But (Y/n) seems to think otherwise. A force field came up around us. I am too young to die. (Y/n) placed three fingers on my rib cage. "Okay. You got us. Obviously I can't fight you all. So easily you got me," (Y/n) says. I turn to her. "Are you crazy," I asked? "Yeah. I am. Give me five seconds." "We don't want you. We want her," Remedy says. I tense as she smirks at me. She must be really out of her mind if she thinks I'm going with her. "Well, that isn't happening. I'm not going," I spat crossing my arms. (Y/n) tugged her amulet off and tied it to my neck. Irene this life and death stuff. It's getting on my nerves. "Oh well. Boys go ahead and shoot. Leave no evidence," Remedy says. She walks away. The boys take aim and shot. I wasn't hit but (Y/n) was. I gasp as bullet after bullet comes. "What is wrong with you," I asked? She didn't answer. (Y/n) leaned against the wall closing her eyes. The amulet starts to beep. "Injury detected." When in Irene's name could it speak? "Healing intact. Please wait," the amulet says. The men grabbed my arm. Lifting me with ease. I thrash and squirm in the grip. One punched me in the gut. I gasped for air bending over. "Kate." A blow to my head hit me hard. Knocking me out cold.
(Y/n).
Kate. They took her. Why? My body freaking hurts. Like really bad. I'm way too weak to track them. Or do anything for that matter. I slowly slide down the wall. My vision turns dark. "Let me help you." "No. I don't need it," I muttered aloud. "You're in dire need of help. Honey let me help. I'm a part of you. You have to trust me." I try to open my eyes. But it's such a hard struggle to do, I just give up. "Fine. You can help." "Relax and let me help. I'm sure no harm can come." I hear footsteps. "On second thought you might not need to," I say. A blurry face comes into view. Then two. When did my eyes open? I groan and close them. Giving in to the darkness.
Welp another chapter. Sorry, it took so long. See ya!
