Saturday

Jack's pov

I opened my eyes to see I was in bed alone. I could've sworn I was sleeping on the couch with Jade. I got up and walked out of my room. I walked into the kitchen to find Jade making bacon, eggs, and French toast. "Babe what are you doing?" I asked while hugging her from behind. "Well It's Saturday and I thought it would be nice to make breakfast for me, your mom, and of course you" She said while putting food on plates. "Awe you didn't have to do this. What time did you wake up?" I asked as I kissed her head. "I woke up around 6:17am" She said while putting the food on the table.

My mom walked into the kitchen and thanked Jade for making breakfast. "It was really no problem I used to cook for my mom and dad all the time" Jade said as I stuffed my face with food. "Awe that's so sweet of you. Your going to become a great mom one day' My mom said as me and Jade looked at each other. "I remember when you two first met each other" My mom started to say. "Yeah I remember hating you at first" Jade said as I laughed. "Are you kidding me I remember the moment I saw you.I was begging to go back in the car" I said as she started laughing.

Are childhood memories are the best memories I have. I wish we can go back to those days where nothing really mattered in life. "What are you thinking about?" Jade asked as I snapped back into reality. "I was thinking about how life was so much easier when we were younger. I want to go back to those days." I said while looking down. "Hey it will be ok it's not that much longer until the school year ends. Brittney is the least of our problems right now." Jade said as I started to feel less sad.

I helped Jade clean up the kitchen and wash the dishes. "Jack you know you can tell me anything. I know there's something else that's bothering you." Jade said as I stopped what I was doing. "Jade you know I love you and if there's something that is bothering me I will tell you when the time is right. Don't think that I'm going to start hiding things from you." I said as she smiled. I hugged her tightly as she did the same. We broke are hug when we heard a knock on the door. Jade grabbed a knife just as I put my hand on the door knob. "Jade what are you doing?" I asked as there was another knock on the door. "Just being safe. You never know whos behind that door" She said as I nodded. I opened the door to see Lily and Kim. "Oh It's just you guys" Jade said while putting the knife back.

"Jack and Jade you need to come to the park. Zane is getting beating up by the jocks" Kim said as Jade sprinted out the door in her wolf form. I changed into my wolf form as well and followed her. We reached the park as Jade tackled the guy that was punching Zane. I started punching the guy that was kicking Zane.

Jade's pov

I sprinted down the hill and tackled the guy that was punching Zane. "Why are you here? Did Brittney send you here?" I started questioning as Jack tackled the other guy. "Yes Brittney sent me here. She wanted pay back and quite frankly so do I" He said while trying to escape my grip. "You don't want payback your just doing what Brittney tells you because she brain washed you. You don't really want to beat up Zane but since Brittney brain washed you. You do what she tells you to do" I said as he stopped and thought for a moment.

"Haven't you realized that you are hurting people that haven't done anything to you. I mean yes we have beaten you guys up a few times. but that's only because we're trying protect ourselves" I added as I slowly got up. He got up as well and thanked me for snapping him back into realization. Him and his friend left the park as me ad everyone else went to Jack's. After that incident I hope it fix things and they stop hanging around Brittney.
