Chapter 27

Saturday

Lily's pov

I walked in after Jack and closed the door. "Lily get out" Jack said. "I know an apology is not going fix anything. But at least saying it helps" I said as Jade looked at me. "Lily's right. I'm sorry for all that I did to you. I never meant to hurt you. Hurting you is the last thing I want to do" Jade said and Jack still looked angry.

"Jack there's no reason to be mad at Lily. She did nothing wrong and I'm fine now" Jade said and smiled. The way she smiled made what she said believable. But I know behind that smile she's not ok. Jack is just to dumb to notice.

Jade's pov

I put on a fake smile to show everyone that I'm ok. But I think Lily knows that I'm not ok. I can see it now, When Jack is some where out of the room. Lily and I are going talk. I really don' want to talk about it. It's really nothing to talk about.

I wish I can tell Jack, but I know he wouldn't understand. Also he would probably freak out and we would get into another argument. There is nothing I hate more than me and Jack arguing.

"So what do you guys want to do?" I asked. "Wanna watch a horror movie?" Jack asked. "But we always watch horror movie's" Lily said. "Well that's what we want to watch" Jack said. "I never agreed to that" I said.

"See Jade doesn't want to watch a horror movie" Lily said. "I mean I wouldn't mind watching a horror movie" I said. "See she want's to watch a horror movie. It's two aganist one" Jack said. "What are we in pre- school. You argue like a 6 year old" Lily said.

"Ok enough" I said. "Let's just watch no movie at all" I said and walked out of the room.

While taking a seat on the couch I hear them arguing.

Lily's pov

"Oh great now look what you did" Jack said. "What I did. How in the hell is this my fault. If you were to keep your mouth shut this wouldn't have happened" I said. "If you didn't disagreed with me this wouldn't have happened" Jack said.

"You know what I'm done. I'm done auguring with you for the stupidest things. I mean think abut Jade. When she smiled earlier she wasn't happy. It was a fake smile. Behind that smile of hers is pain. And you caused it" I said and walked out of the room.

I walked downstairs to see Jade sitting on the couch with her head in her hands. I sat on the couch next to her and she looked up at me. I looked at her and she was a mess. Tears streaming down here face. Makeup messed up. I felt so bad.

"I'm sorry" I said

"Don't be it's Jacks fault anyways right" She said as there was loud banging on the door.

Jade quickly runs to the kitchen and grabs a knife. "Lily go upstairs and get Jack" she whispered. I do as told and run upstairs. Walking through the door I see Jack sitting on her bed. "Jack get up" I say.

"Why should I" He says

"Because something is going on downstairs an-" Without letting me finish he grabs Jades pocket knife and hands it to me. "Your gonna need it" He says and starts running down stairs.

Jade's pov

"You haven't opened the door yet right" Jack says. "No and why don't you have a weapon" I say. "Because I don't need a weapon to protect you guys" He says as there's more pounding on the door.

"Ready guys" I say as they nod

I open the door and hide behind it. Two guys walk in and don't see me. Jack and Lily are hiding in a corner behind me. Maybe a gun would've been a better weapon. Jack dials 911 and try's to be quiet.

The men walk around the house looking for something. "Well the door didn't open by it's self" One of the men say. "She's got to be here some where" Another guy says. There talking about me.

Why are they looking for me?
