Chapter 16

Jade's pov

I woke up and looked at Jack. He was sound asleep and snoring a little bit. I got up and went over to my bag. I looked through my bag tying to find something to wear, but I found nothing. "Jack" I said as he opened his eyes. "What" He said while yawning. "All my cloths are dirty and I have nothing to wear" I said as he got up and went to his closet. He opened the closet to reveal all my cloths. "Are you kidding me" I said while crossign my arms. "Jade I have something to tell you. Your dad got into a car acident on his way to work. My mom told me this later in the night when you were sleeping. She washed all your cloths and I hung them up in my closet." He said as I can feel tears coming down my face. Jack hugged me tightly and said that everythig will be ok. I wasn't really sure if I was going to be ok. I mean mom mom's in jail, My dad's in the hospital, Come to realize I don't have anyone. All I have is Jack.

I got dressed and ready for school. "Are you sure your going to be ok at school. I can write you a note so that you can stay here today." Jack's mom said kindly. "No I'll be fine" I said. "Besides mom I'll be by her side no matter what" Jack said as his mom smiled. I opened the door us and walked out into the cold weather. "Why is it so cold today?" I asked Jack. "Don't ask me I don't control the weather. We laughed and started walking to school.

On our way to school we saw Kim and Zane on the other side of the street. "Hey get your asses over here!" Jack yelled as I started laughing. They walked over to us and we all walked to school together. "Do you think we will see Lily today?" Kim asked. "I don't know. I was thinking we take her to the park with us today" I said as we headed into school. "That would be a great Idea" Zane said as I heard someone crying. "Wait do you guys here that" I said trying to find out where it was coming from.

I followed the sound which lead me to the janitors closet. I opened the door to see Lily on the floor with her head in her knees. "Lily are you ok?" I asked as her head popped up. Tears stained her cheeks as she tried to say something but no words were heard. "Three girls bullied me as soon as I walked into school. They pushed me to the ground and started to call me names." She said as Everyone sat down next to her. "What names did they call you?" I asked as she took a deep breathe. "They called me a whore, skank, slut, scene, emo, all of the above" Lily said as more tears rolled down her cheeks. "Come on those words don't mean anything. Your beautiful. And don't let some trashy as girls bring you down. Believe me we've all been in your shoes" I said as she smiled a little.

We walked out of the janitors closet and saw Brittney, Rachel, and some other chick. "Those are the girls that bulled me" Lily said as Britney looked at us. Brittney and her little friends started walking over to us. "Don't worry we got your back" I told Lily as they stopped in front of us. "Oh look It's the freak from earlier" Rachel said as Brittney smirked. "Hey do you have anything better to do then pick on my friends. Why don't you go get your nails done or go get some ugly as cloths from mall. Cause I hade enough of your fucking bullshit." I said as my hands clenched into fists. "Whatever slut. No matter what you say will change what's already happening" Brittney said while pushing me to the ground. They walked off and Jack helped me up. "Jade are you ok?" Lily asked. "Yeah I'm fine. It's gonna have to take a lot more than words and a push to the floor to take this bitch down" I said as we all stared laughing.

(Time skip to after school)

After school we all met up with each other. "So Lily do you want to go to the park with us?" I asked Lily. "Sure" Lily said as we started to walk to the park. "I'm so glad your coming with us to the park" Kim said to Lily. "You guys really didn't have to ask me. I would've came with you guys no matter what" Lily said as we arrived at the park. "Fun fact Jade, Zane, and I have been going to this park since we were 4 years old" Jack said as we sat down under a tree. "Really, you guys have known each other for that long" Lily said. "Yep. We have actually known each other longer than that. Jack and I have known each other since we were born. We meet Zane at this park" I told Lily as Jack blushed. "I'm surprised that we've known each other for that long" Jack said hiding his face.

We talked forever about childhood memories and how much we have changed. Everything went silent when Brittney showed up with Rachel, her boyfriend, Brenden, and Stacy. "Fuck we better get out of here" Zane said while getting up. "No we're staying until we are ready to leave" I said while pulling him back down. Brittney and everyone else walked up to us as I got up. "What do you want?" I simply asked. "We want to beat you guys up" Brittney said as she tried to punch me but I blocked it. "My turn" I said while punching her in the stomach. Everyone got up and tried to pull me away from everyone else. I didn't want to leave until that bitch was dead, but I knew that I was going to get my ass kicked too.

We left the park and everyone went home. Jack and I decided not to tell his mom anything and just go to bed. I honestly don't want o put up with Brittney's bullshit anymore. I'm pretty sure that everyone else feels the same way. I want to do something to ruin her reputation. Maybe make up a rumor to all her friends. Or maybe tell them the truth about what they are to Brittney. Because it looks to me like there just her trolls. Like they mean nothing to her. There just following her around like a puppy dog and doing whatever she tells them to do. I honestly hate people like her and the worst part is Brittney's "friends" are completely clueless of what's going on.

I thing I'm just going to leave it alone for now. But when that day comes. The day when I tell Brittney's "friends" the truth. It's all down hill from there. I got comfortable in Jack's arms and fell asleep.
