Chapter 24

Friday

Jade's pov

I woke up to see jack sleeping next to me. I couldn't get the thoughts of what happened yesterday out of my mind. I know I was a little bit mean to Lily, but that's just who I am. A person with anger issues. I was thinking about it all night last night. And I decided that I was going to invite Lily over for a sleepover. To make up for what I did.

Jack woke up and looked at me. "What are you doing up?" He asked still tired. "Well I thought about this all night last night and I was thinking we invite Lily over to spend the night" I said as he gave me a strange look. "Why would you want to do that?" He asked.

"So I can make up for what I did to her" I said.

"So that's all your going to do. Have her spend the night at your house and hope that she forgives you" He said.

"Relax Jack I have other stuff planned just got to get my dad to agree" I said. "Ok" He said as we both got out of bed

I checked the time to see that it was only 7:23 a.m. This is the earliest I have ever woken up.

I went to my closet and looked for something to where. Jack's arms wrapped around my waist and his chin rested on my shoulder.

"What is it Jack?" I asked. "I'm bored and I don't want to go to school" He said as I laughed.

"How can you be bored if your with me" I said as he let go. "I don't know. My mind's messing with me today" He said while rubbing his eyes and walking out.

"Oh I remember what I was going to ask you" He said while walking towards me. He got real close to my ear and whispered "Are you gonna look sexy for me today?" in a deep voice. His breathe on my ear made me giggle a little. "Yes I will" I said as I kissed him on the lips.

He walked out and I went back to finding something to wear. I looked and looked until I found an outfit I liked. It was a pierce the veil tank top, Black skinny jeans, and a black and white sweatshirt with cat ears on it. I put on my outfit and walked outside of my closet.

"Damn you look fine as hell" Jack said as I laughed. "Sorry I couldn't find anything sexy for you" I said still laughing. "Awe babe your already sexy enough" He said as walked into the bathroom.

I did my makeup and my hair while Jack started getting ready. After I finished I walked out of the bathroom. "KIDS BREAKFAST" My dad yelled from downstairs.

"Come on let's go" I said as me and Jack started walking downstairs.

When we got downstairs we saw two plates of bacon, pancakes, and eggs. "No way, Is this all for us" I said as my dad nodded his head. Me and Jack ran up to him and hugged him tightly.

I sat down next to Jack and started eating. The food was delicious. "What time did you start making the food dad?" I asked my mouth full of food. "Well I got up around 6: 27 a.m. So I would say somewhere around that time"

"Thank you" I said while finishing my food.
I waited at the table for jack until he finished. We grabbed our backpacks and headed out the door.

Daydream
On our way to school there was no sign of Kim, Lily, or Zane. They must be already at school. Jack opened the door for me and we walked in.

Everyone was silent. No one was talking. No one was moving. They were just staring at me and Jack.

It's like they were frozen in time or something. "What's going on?" I asked Jack. "I don't know and I don't want to find out" he said while walking away.

What's with him today. The bell rang and everyone snapped out of it and went to their classes. I just stood there in the hallway unable to move.

I was in shock. This never happened before. My dad never made breakfast. I can't even remember the last time he touched a pan. Jack never acted this way. And nobody was ever silent.

I wanted to go back home and see if my dad knew anything about this. But. I saw Lily standing at the other side of the hallway. She just stood there starring at me.

I opened my mouth to say something, but no words came out. I just stood there staring at her as she did the same.
End of daydream

Jack snapped his fingers in front of my face. "Hello earth to Jade. Is there a jade in there that I can talk to" Jack said as I giggled.

"Are you ok? What were you thinking about?" He asked. "I'm fine I was just daydreaming" I said trying to sound convincing. "You can't fool me Jade you stop walking when your thinking really hard about something" he said.

"Just tell me" he added.
