Chapter 10

Jack's pov

"Jack wake up" I heard someone say. "No" I said putting my face in my pillow. "Jack we have school to go to" Jade said while taking my pillow. "I don't want to go" I said looking at her. "Fine then" She said as she grabbed my ankles and pulled me out of bed. "Why did you do that" I said sounding annoyed. "We have school" She said as I got up off the floor. "Get dressed and comb your hair. I'll meet you there" She said while walking out off my room. I picked out an outfit and some shoes then quickly put them on. I didn't like the idea of Jade walking by herself to school. I brushed my hair really quickly and grabbed my bag. I put my gauges in my pocket and ran out of the house just in time to catch up with Jade. "Oh look who decided to show up" Jade said sarcastically. "Hey babe I'm sorry that I didn't get up. I didn't want you walking by yourself" I said as she held my hand. "This makes up for it" She said smiling. "Can you put in my gauges for me when we get to school?" I asked as she nodded.

When we arrived at school we stopped so Jade can put in my gauges. I took the gauges out of my pocket and handed them to her. She put them in and then smiled at me. "Why are you smiling" I asked her. "What a girl can't smile" She said. "Not a million times a day" I said. "Well maybe I like smiling" She said sticking her tongue out at me. I did it back and we walked down the hall of lockers. Everyone started staring at us and whispering stuff. That's when Zane and Kim came running around the corner. "What's going on?" I asked as the pulled us into the janitors closet. "Everyone knows about what you did to Brittney and all of them" Kim said. "And they know about Jade having to go to the hospital" Zane added. "There saying that Jade kicked there asses because she wanted attention" Kim said. "There also saying that the only reason you went the hospital as because you self harmed yourself to get more attention" Zane added as Jade started panicking. "Who's starting these rumors" I asked. "It's not anybody in this school" Jade said. "It's my mom" Jade added as the room got silent. "H-how do you know?" Zane asked shakenly. Jade pulled out her phone and showed us a text from her mom.

Text from mom: Listen here missy I will get out of this jail and I will come find you. But for now your lucky that I'm only spreading rumors. Once I get out of here YOUR DEAD and I'll make sure your gone for sure.

I don't think I've ever been more shocked in my life. I can't believe her mom is doing this to her. Jade's probably going through so much right now and I don't even know half of it. "My head hurts" She said rubbing her head. "Do you want to go home and rest?" I asked as she nodded her head. "I'll take her to the house" Kim said as we walked out of the closet. The halls were empty and classes were filled with students. I hugged Jade and said goodbye before she left. Me and Zane started heading to class as Kim and Jade headed outside.

Jade's pov

Me and Jack hugged and said goodbye before me and Kim headed out. Jack and Zane started heading to class as me and Kim headed out the door. Me and Kim started walking back to the house when someone tapped me on the shoulder. I didn't turn around this time, Instead I kept walking and ignoring whoever was behind me. They tapped my shoulder gain and again so I decided to turn around and see who it was. It was a few of my dads agents. "Kim we have to get out of here" I said as we turned into our werewolf forms and started running. They started to chase after but we didn't stop running until we got into the house. Once we were in the house we locked the door, the windows, and hid in Jack's room. I texted Jack and told him to get Zane and come to the house. The agents started to pound on the door which got Kim scared. "What if they break down the door?" She asked. "I've got a plan" I said standing up and opening one of Jacks dresser drawers. I reached in and grabbed his gun. "He has a gun" Kim said surprisingly. "It's for me not him" I said loading the gun with bullets.

I opened Jack's bedroom window and jumped out. Kim jumped out behind me and stayed really close to me. "Ok follow my lead and don't make to much noise" I told her as she nodded. I stood at the corner of the wall and saw the agents still standing there. I put the safety off and aimed the gun at one of the agents. I pulled the trigger as the agent fell down. "This is just like overwatch" I said to myself as I shoot another agent. Then another and another until they were all down. "Holy shit" Kim said as we kept walking. I put the safety back on when I saw Jack and Zane. "Are you ok? are you hurt? what happened?" Jack said as he saw the gun in my hand and the guys on the ground. "You killed them" He said. "No no there not dead I only shot them once" I said giving the gun to him. He took the gun and inspected it, then he gave it back to me. "Keep it" He said. "You need it more then I do" He added as I put the gun in my back pocket.

A black van pulled up by the curb we were standing by. We all stepped away from the van and prepared to attack. Two more of my dads agents jumped out of the van and walked towards me. Jack jumped in front of me as I pulled out my gun. "Kim go inside we'll handle this" I told her as she sprinted inside the house. "You guys got a problem with my girlfriend or what" Jack said as they got closer to us. "Jack these are my dads agents" I whispered in his ear. "Oh then this will be fun" Jack said as he grabbed my gun and shot them both in the head. "Jack" I said with anger. "What" He said looking at me. "We could've gotten information out of them" I said taking the gun away from him. "Oops" He said shrugging his shoulders. I put the gun on safety and put it back in my pocket. "Let's just go inside" I said walking to front door. "Your lucky your adorable" I said to him. "What would you do if I was ugly?" He asked as we stepped inside the house. "I would probably break your face" I said while grabbing a soda out of the fridge. "No you wouldn't" He said. "Yes I would" I said back to him.

"Ok you guys are not arguing when I'm standing right here" Zane said flipping his hair out of his eyes. "Sorry" I said taking a sip of my Pepsi. Jack came over to my side and whispered in my ear "No you wouldn't." I set my Pepsi on the counter and looked at him. "Yes I would" I said tackling him to the ground. I pinned his arms and legs to the floor and stared him in the eyes. "Ok I guess your right" He said smirking. "Never forget, I'm always right" I said getting up.
