Scarlett's POV

As I walked out of the room my head was full of questions. I went back in Rachel's room and smiled. Liam has fallen asleep holding Joshua and Taylor was asleep leaning on his shoulder.

I looked over at Rachel who was having a quiet conversation with Mom. "Hey." I said quietly and they both turned toward me.

"Scarlett no offense but you look like shit. You need to go home and get some rest. And maybe a hot shower." Rachel said waking Liam up.

"Oh I'm so sorry I fell asleep!" Liam exclaimed waking Joshua up. As Joshua started to cry Liam looked up at me terrified. I couldn't help but laugh as I took Joshua from him.

I rocked him in my arms but that wouldn't calm him down. "Mom? Where can I find a bottle?" I asked looking at her.

"Well he might just need a diaper change. There's a woman down the hall with a little girl. I can borrow some stuff from her. You guys stay here." Mom said hopping out of her seat and running out of the room.

"Scarlett you are a brave soul to be taking him in." Liam said with a small smile.

"Scarlett are you taking him in?" Rachel asked in disbelief. "I mean don't you have enough on your plate. I mean you still have to settle back into the real world. I mean you have been gone for fifteen years." Rachel added as an explanation.

"Rachel I made a promise. I always keep my promises. Remember I promised that I would get you out of Cage's grasp and I did right?" I asked giving her the look.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean that like it came out." Rachel said apologizing as I continues to rock Joshua.

"Calm down boy. I'll feed you in a minute." I said looking down at him. He started up at me continuing to cry his little eyes out. "Hey it's going to be okay." I said lifting him into a hug as Mom came in.

"Here you go." She said handing me the bottle. I held it to Joshua's mouth he reached up and held onto it. "I brought a diaper. I figure that Liam can pick him up some on his way home." Mom said as Taylor started to run her eyes.

"Tay go ahead and tell Gandma and Aunt Rachel goodbye. Liam has offered to drive me home." I said talking to both Mom and Taylor.

"Bye grandma. Bye aunt Rachel." Taylor said quietly before hugging my legs. I smiled down at her as Liam picked her up.

"Bye Taylor. Bye Scarlett. Bye Liam." Mom and Rachel said together and I could tell that Mom didn't trust Liam.

"Come on. You need to get in bed before you pass out." Liam said wrapping a supporting arm around my shoulders as my crutch fell to the ground.

"Wait I need that." I said pausing.

"Leave it. I've got some that Charlie used when she was younger." Liam said helping me walk out of the room. Taylor walked next to me. "I had my Mom drive my car here. She never asks questions." Liam added as we walked into the parking lot.

"Liam I have a question. Why did Charlie only ask for you? She didn't even mention her parents. Why?" I asked climbing into his newish truck.

"Well things were pretty bad before. Even though she was always at odds with our parents she wouldn't have wanted them there. I think she knew exactly what was going to happen to her. She didn't want them to have to watch her die right after they had just gotten her back." Liam said after he buckled Taylor in the back seat and handed me Joshua.

"When are you going to tell them?" I asked quietly as he started the truck.

"To be honest I don't know. They had a service years ago for her. Would you mind telling them for me?" Liam asked looking away from the road.
