Kate's POV. Two Months Later.

"Scar. How are you and Dylan doing?" I asked as a distraction. I was currently trying to move my legs, with no luck of course.

"We are fine. I think I love him." Scar said and I looked up at her in shock. She smiled and looked down.

"Scarlett I never doubted for a second that you loved him. Even fifteen years ago I could see it." I said and this time she looked up at me in surprise.

"It was that obvious?" Scarlett asked not even trying to cover it up. I shook my head and I felt my leg move. I felt my eyes widen and she looked worried. "What is it?" She asked coming towards me.

"Scar. I think I'm ready. I think I can try again. Will you help me?" I asked and immediately she was sceptical.

"Kat last time you ended up with a concussion. I don't know if I could live with that." Scarlett said trying to evade the request.

"Scarlett. It has been two months. I'm ready. If you don't help me then I'll do this myself." I said and I saw the second she believed me.

"I'm so dead for this." Scarlett whispered as she came to my side. I held my arms out and she lowered the foot holders placing my feet on the ground.

Then she grabbed my hands and pulled me to my feet. She quickly grabbed for my waist but I stopped her by letting go of her arms. She gasped and stepped back.

"I'm doing it!" I exclaimed meeting her eyes. "I'm standing Scar! I'm standing!" I exclaimed smiling wider than I had when Isaac proposed two months ago.

"You are Kat. Now sit down before you fall." Scarlett said in her worried mother voice. I shook my head and took a step forward. "Kat!" She exclaimed worriedly.

"Scar I'm going to walk down the aisle tomorrow. Even if it kills me." I said walking towards her. Then my legs felt week and I grabbed hold of her to keep from falling. "I'm almost ready. You can't tell Isaac or Dylan about this. I want to surprise them tomorrow. And since I'm staying here I can practice all night." I said smirking up at her.

"Kat I can't let you hurt yourself. Especially the day before your wedding." Scarlett said shaking her head.

"I can practice without you. I am my own person and I will not be controlled. I will do as I please." I said stepping back and placing my hands on my hips.

"Fine. But you aren't going to practice alone. I'm going to stay with you. You going to surprise the crap out of them tomorrow." Scarlett said causing me to smile.

She hooked her arm through mine and we slowly started walking around her living room. Then the door bell rang and she literally pushed me onto the couch and ran to the door.

"Hello?" She called through the door before pulling the door open. "Oh. It's just you Mr. Brian." She said sighing in relief.

"Well it's nice to know that I'm appreciated." Dad said acting disappointed.

"I just- I thought you were Dylan or Isaac. They can't be here right now. And if you want to help you have to keep a secret from everybody. Even your wife and son." Scarlett said leading dad to my side.

"It depends on what it is Scar. If it's going to cause harm to my family then I'm going to tell." Dad said looking us both in the eye.

"Dad. Please. I just want to keep the secret until tomorrow." I said and he frowned.

"It's your secret?" Dad asked and I nodded. "Okay then anything for you sweetie." Dad said and I smiled.

"Go stand against that wall and I'll show you." I said excitedly and he did as I asked. Scarlett took a step towards me and I shook my head. "I can do it." I added when she frowned at me.

I stood and watched my dad's eyes widen in shock. I took slow and careful steps towards him. I saw the tears well up in his eyes as I came closer to him. Then I stopped right in front of him and he pulled me into a tight hug.

"I knew you had it in you." Dad whispered in my ear through his sobs.

"I stopped thinking so hard. And I can do it. I bet I always could as long as I didn't over think it like I have been." I said hugging him back just as tightly. "I can just see Isaac's face as I walk down the aisle tomorrow." I said with a chuckle.

Dad laughed before pulling back and looking down at me. "There won't be a dry eye in the church tomorrow. That's a promise." Dad said helping me back to the couch.

"You don't think we are moving to fast do you? I mean I've only known Isaac for three months." I asked suddenly worried what others will think.

"Sweetie. Do you love him?" Dad asked looking down at me as he sat next to me and Scarlett exited the room.

"Yes." I answered without hesitation.

"Does he love you?" Dad asked and there was no thought to it.

"Yes." I answered again.

"Do you want to spend the rest of your life with him?" Dad asked with a small smile.

"Yes. But-" I started and he interrupted me.

"Katie. There is no buts. You said yes to all three of the questions your mother asked her father the night before we were married. She hasn't regretted her decision once. And she hasn't left my side even when I was completely and utterly wrong." Dad said hugging me.

"Your right daddy. I have nothing to worry about. And I have a surprise for Scarlett tomorrow. Remember Charlotte? Well I contacted her and she has slowly been gaining her memory back. She will be there tomorrow." I said smiling full on.

"That's wonderful. Now you need to rest up. You have a long day tomorrow." Dad said and I nodded getting up and slowly making my way to the spare bedroom.
