Chapter 15- I Have A Plan

It's Thursday morning. I wore a white t-shirt with a jean jacket and dark blue shorts with black and white chucks. I went downstairs I saw my dad reading the paper while my sister is talking to Jake on the back porch. Ted and Jade are eating breakfast (yes they all spent the night at my dad's)

"Hey dad"

He put down the paper

"Hey sweetie guess what you and your friends along with your sister have today?"

"School?"

"No I called them and told them that you guys are busy today"

Seriously best dad ever

"then what?"

"An interview"

I sat on the counter "with who?"

"Cody Hawk show"

"I'm not in the mood"

"It's not long then after that you can spend the day with your friends...deal?"

I rolled my eyes and huffed "deal"

"Alright go get everyone and I'll get the car"

"Can I-"

"No you're not driving"

I went to go get everyone. We're all on the back porch,

"So instead of school we're going to an interview?" Ted asked

I nodded and leaned into Jake he wrapped his arms around me

"I'm guessing I'm in the studio" Jake said

"i don't know I hope not"

"Can we say you two have the best dad ever" Jade exclaimed

My sister and I smiled we heard the car horn,

"Let's go" I said

We all left to go to the show.

We're behind set of the Cody Hawk show. I saw windows and a couch sitting in front of the windows with a wooden desk with a black spinning chair behind it. There is hardwood flooring and cords all over the place,

"Mr. Miller why do they want to interview us?" Ted asked

"You're close to my daughter and you all spend a lot of time together so you guys are famous too"

"So we're famous with association?" Jade asked

"Pretty much yeah but the fans love you guys just as equal"

I'm holding Jakes hand while we're walking around checking out the set,

"You're quiet what's wrong?"

"Nothing" I said while not looking at him

He stopped in front of me and looked me in my eyes "you're lying"

"Fine it's just what happened last night, I was...i was"

"Scared?"

I nodded "I rarely get scared but last night I was"

"To be honest I was scared too"

"You were?"

He nodded

"Yeah"

"So the guy that can perform of millions was scared?"

"Yeah"

"Why? you weren't in danger"

"But you were...I thought I was going to lose you and that's the scariest thing ever"

I smiled and kissed him. He wrapped his arms around my waist he looked at me and smiled,

"You're never going to lose me"

"Promise?" he said

"Promise"

I smiled then heard my name being called

"I guess I'm needed"

We walked back to the set.

I'm sitting on the couch with my sister and friends while Cody sat behind the desk,

"Everyone we're here with a few guest and they are Payton and Rachel Miller along with Payton's friends Ted Fern and Jade Pen"

we all waved to the camera

"So Payton you're dating the famous Jake Thomas"

"Yes that's why I'm here because for some reason it's a big deal" I said

"Pay like I told you, you were a normal girl and then BAM! He came into your life you're like Cinderella and he's your Prince Charming"

I looked at her "but I'm still a normal girl"

"Uh no you're not" Jade added

"Yes I am I still go to school and hangout with you all so I'm still normal case closed" I said with a hint of irritation in my voice

"So umm Payton you made a girls dream come true last night"

"Yes I did"

"And you said you picked her because she was the only one who sent you a nice message when you got hate"

"You're repeating what I said that night"

"How'd you know she was there?"

"I checked out her twitter she posted that she was going to his concert and be in general admission...then later on that night I followed her and gave her a shout out she's such a sweetie"

"So what was it like to get all that hate? how did you feel when you read those messages?"

"I was pretty upset I never knew people could be that mean to someone who makes their idol so happy"

"Yeah people can be rude like that"

he took a drink from his mug then looked at Jade and Ted

"So what do you guys think of her new romance?"

As long as she's happy I'm happy" Jade said

"She's a great friend and I can tell she really loves Jake and he loves her so as long as she's happy I'm happy"

"So Payton you trust Jake right?"

i looked at Cody contomplating on why he would as me such a strange question

"Yeah?"

"what if I told you that he is cheating on you with a girl he met while on tour"

I looked at him surprised. Just then they showed pictures of him with some girl on the screen I focused on her, she has cherry red hair with bright green eyes they are on the beach laughing and having a wonderful time together

"we'll get your idea on this right after the break"

Just then the red light on the camera shut off and i left the set, with my friends and sister closely behind. Running out of the set and outside i started crying,

"Payton!" its my sister

I looked at her through watery eyes

"those pictures are old" she said

I was in disbelif

"W-what?" i managed to say

"Yeah those are old"

I stood up

"That is a really old girlfriend of his...they are only doing that so you two can break up"

I'm in shock! do they really want me out of his life that bad that they decided to do this?

"that's so messed up" Jade said

"Yeah what kind of people would do that?" Ted questioned

I started thinking to myself "if they want us split that is exactly what they will get"

my sister is looking at me "What are you thinkking?" my sister asked

"I have a plan"

i smirked,
