Chapter 31- Resturant Secrets

Baylor and I are sitting ontop of a rock at the beach, the guards aren't far ever since Jake yelled at them they haven't left my side. I like Mike better than I do Jeff, Mike cares about me he'll come over and check on me to make sure I'm ok and ask if I need to talk he's a friend and a bodyguard mixed into one person. I'm watching the tide go in and out,

"Oh my gosh!"

I looked down and saw a girl about thirteen looking up at me with her mother beside her just staring at me

"It's Payton Miller!"

"Great a fan"

Don't get me wrong I love my fans I just didn't want to be bothered. Mike and Jeff ran up,

"Please Payton can I get a picture?"

"Payton doesn't want to be"

"No it's fine" I said interrupting Jeff

I got off the rock with help from Mike. We took the picture and then she ran off I looked at the time "6:30 almost time for Jakes concert" I thought

"We better be going" I said "don't want to be late"

Mike and Jeff smiled and we headed to the concert.

I'm backstage at Jakes concert waiting for my cue to go on. Just then a man in his late forties who is holding a clipboard and has a pen behind his ear comes up to me,

"Payton your on" he said

I nodded and put my headset on. Walking out from backstage the screams became louder making me smile. White dots appeared in the crowd and the constant "I love you Payton" screams are heard. Then just as I was about to start the acoustic version of Miss You a certain someone runs on stage, it's none other than Dark Clothes,

"Are you serious?" I question out of annoyance

Guards quickly run out but he pulls out a gun from his coat everyone freezes,

"Come quietly and no one gets hurt" he sneered

"No"

"How'd he even get in here? we really need to step up with the security"

He stepped closer

"Aren't you scared?" he asked

I laughed "no"

"what? why?" he asked puzzled

"I know your not going to hurt me because I'm the one you want"

He just stood there

"And plus that's not a real gun" I said crossing my arms over my chest "that's a water gun spray painted black a real gun is bigger and looks a lot heavier"

He was in shock

"also a real gun doesn't look like you just bought it at the dollar store" I laughed

The guards ran over to him quickly before he could have a chance to escape, they took the mask off to reveal a normal guy who has 'I love Payton' tattooed on his face "wow. he really was a fan" with the crazy fan taken care of I started the song.

The concert is over and we're all going out for dinner at some place my dad loves to go to when he's here. I'm holding onto Jakes hand. Ryan, Chris, and Josh are walking with us while my dad and Ms Thomas are walking behind us,

"You killed it tonight!" Josh exclaimed

"I sang one song and it was acoustic" I laughed

He shrugged
