My Life Changed When I Met Him

Chapter 22- Back To School

It's six thirty when we finished all three songs and in one day! Now all they have to do is edit it. Jade, Ted, Austin, Jake, Rachel and I are sitting on the beach, our last scene from the They Don't Know The Real Us music video. Austin got here around five and just hung out, but you would hardly know he was around because he was so quiet every time I checked on him his eyes were glued to his phone and he had the biggest grin on his face texting a girl no doubt. We're on the beach I'm sitting beside Jake with his arm around me watching the sun go down into the ocean,

"So when will they be out?" Jade asked

"Hopefully soon" Austin said looking up from his phone "I want to see what they look like" he then went back to his phone

"I just want them out so I can say that I'm in a music video" Ted smiled "oh won't the preps be jealous"

We all laughed "school. I wonder if it's still the same I haven't be there in two weeks" I thought,

"Payton are you ever coming back?" Jade asked

"Wait" my brother said while putting his phone down "you're not in school?"

"No not really"

"But Rachel goes to school" Ted informed

"Yeah" I looked at Rachel who is putting chocolate syrup on her chocolate doughnut then back at everyone else "but I might be starting a singing career"

Jake faced me "really?"

I looked at him "yeah...I might"

"Guys look at the sun!" Rachel exclaimed while holding a chocolate bar. Jake stood up and took my hand I walked with him toward the water. I have on a purple strapless shirt with white shorts and a brown belt he's wearing a lime green t-shirt with white cargo pants and a black belt. Hand in hand we went into the water it came up mid leg so we didn't go out far. My head and hands at on his chest while his arms wrapped around my waist I heard him breathing it's so relaxing I never knew that one guy would mean the world to me. We watched as the bright orange star fell into the cool blue ocean he then took his finger and lifted my chin and kissed me I couldn't have pictured this any other way or with anyone else.

Today is going to be a little different because today I will be going back to public school. I asked my dad if I could try it, getting him to say yes was the hardest thing ever but he eventually caved. It's starting to snow, I wore a tie dyed hoodie with dark denim skinny jeans and tan uggs. While my sister got ready I went to wake up my brother he decided to sleep on the couch,

"Hey punk get up!" I yelled

"There are nicer ways of getting me up"

"Yeah but I really don't feel like using them" I laughed

He got and threw me on the couch,

"You keep forgetting that I'm stronger than you" he said sitting on my back

"But there will come a day when I will come out on top"

"Yeah but not today"

"Get off me!!"

"I leave you two alone for five minutes and you try to kill each other" I heard my dad laugh

"Get off me!!" I screamed again

"Austin get off your sister"

He got off of me

"Payton where's your sister?" my dad asked while putting away the orange juice

"Still getting ready" I said while leaning on the back of the couch "we all can't be as beautiful as me and can you pour me some please"

He looked at me "why didn't you ask when I had it out?"
