Chapter 37- Crushing

-Austin's P.O.V-

I'm sitting on the couch trying to get in contact with Veronica but she's not answering her phone. The ring from the door bell came flowing through the house. I got up an went over to the door and standing in front of me is Jake, the guys and Veronica,

"Well hello there" I laughed

They all came in and I shut the door behind them,

"So what are you all doing here?"

"We came here to pick up Payton we're going to a concert remember?" Jake informed

"Oh yeah well she's sleeping she should be up soon though"

We went into the living room and sat on the couch,

"So who is performing at this concert?"

"Dan and Shay" Chris replied

"The country singers?" I asked

"Yeah some others are performing as well" Ryan said

"Do y'all want to come?" Josh asked

I looked at Veronica "would you like that?"

"Yes!" she squealed

"Alright guess we're all going" I laughed

Just then the door flew open,

"I HOOOOMMMEEEE" a voice chimed

We looked at the door and saw Rachel arms extended and smiling wide I ran over to her and hugged her,

"Someone likes to make an entrance" I laughed

"Duh!"

"Yeah and she doesn't like to help with her bags" my dad groaned

I saw him carrying in Rachel's bags,

"Guys go help my dad"

Ryan, Chris, Josh and Jake all ran out the door,

"Why does it feel as if you came back with more bags than you left with?" I asked

"Because we went to the mall!" she squealed

"Girls" I exhaled "I'll never understand them"

Once all of Rachel's bags were in the house we went into the living room and hung out until Payton woke up.

-Jake's P.O.V-

We're all in the living room talking about the concert we are going to when we heard screaming coming from upstairs quickly exchanging looks Jason, Austin and Rachel ran upstairs the guys and I followed. Bursting into Payton's room they quickly ran over to her the guys and I stood in the door way watching. I saw Payton she's yelling for help and coughing as if she's drowning her family is desperately trying to wake her, ear piercing screams are coming from her,

"Payton wake up it's just a dream" he brother said calmly

She's shaking

"Payton it's ok" her sister said

Tears fell from her eyes

"Pay relax you're safe" her dad soothed

I just watched "how are they being so calm" she started to relax

once everything went back to normal we left.

We're all downstairs in the living room talking,

"That was scary" Josh said while plopping on the couch
