Chapter 12-I'm Still A Normal Girl

*Three Months Later*

I'm on the phone with my dad. he just told me the worst news ever! I felt like crying. I'm in my room sitting on my bed with my friends and sister,

"What?" I asked

"I know I'm upset too but it's for work"

"But seriously three more months!!"

"I know sweetie"

I started hyperventilating I suffer from panic attacks ever since the accident but they haven't been bugging me lately this is the third one ever since the accident

"Sweetie breathe" I heard my dad say over the phone

My sister tried calming me down I started relaxing

"I'll have to do the talk show alone along with the holidays...this sucks"

"Take your sister and friends to the interview"

I huffed "fine"

He told me he loved me then hung up the phone. I laid back on my bed,

"Is it bad to say at points I hate my dad's job?"

"No I would be upset as well" Jade said

"Can you guys come with me to the interview I don't want to do it alone"

They all nodded. I got ready and so did everyone else. I'm wearing a red dress with black flats and my hair is curled. I'm finishing my make up when my friends and sister came into the room,

"Dad said Chauncey is on his way" she said. She's wearing a floral print knee length dress and white sandals her hair is braided, she came and sat on my bed,

"Dad will be back"

"I know"

"And so will Jake"

There was a knock on the door,

"Probably Jade and Ted" I said

She nodded then went and got the door

I looked in my vanity mirror

"I miss you mom this would be easier if you were here I love you"

A tear came down the side of my face and I wiped it away,

"You ready to go?"

I looked in the door way and saw Chauncey,

"Do you think I can do this?"

"I know you can" he smiled

I got up "alright let's do this"

I smiled and we headed out.

Chauncey is driving us to the talk show,

"Who am I doing this for?"

"The Blue Show"

"What? I've never heard of it"

"You'll see" he smiled

I love Chauncey he's amazing I know I can tell him anything and he won't judge or tell anyone else. He pulled into the studio parking lot, fans are outside waiting,

"Who are they waiting for Jake isn't here" Ted asked

"I have no idea" I said

Just then they ran over to the car and started hitting it,

"Payton! Payton! Payton I love you"

I jumped they are so loud

"They're waiting for you!" Jade exclaimed
