"Ouch! That was my foot Peter" He stepped on my foot again as we made our way to the womping willow. It was becoming extremely difficult for us to hide under the cloak these days. "Do you think we have perhaps out grown the cloak?" Remus whispered. "Yeah well we don't have many other options do we?" James quietly shot back. At least the corridors of Hogwarts were dark, our feet were slightly visible so the darkness helped keep us hidden. "We are almost there" Peter whispered happily. "Wait" We all stop shuffling and stay silent, we were just outside the castle and Hagrid was outside walking among the grounds. A lantern in his hands and his back towards us. "Fang come 'ere" He calls out.

He seemed distracted enough so we started shuffling towards the tree again. Once we got through the passage we took off the cloak. We made our way through the small tunnel, which is still just as dark and cramped as it normally is. "Here at last!" I collapsed onto the worn out bed. The mattress had a few holes in it, along with a couple springs sticking out but it was still comfy. Some of the pillows were still good enough to use. I watched as James placed a bag under it. Full of Remus' spare clothes I suppose, sometimes he rips them up so bad they can't be mended.   "Right on time too" Remus sighs, gazing out the window. The moon lit up the room dimly, but we knew he would change at any moment. I lazily changed into vixen, followed by Prongs, Padfoot and Wormtail. I wasn't in an overly playful mood, so I watched as Prongs and Padfoot wrestled Moony from a distance. Wormtail sat above a shelf and watched too, he was probably afraid of being stomped on.

Whilst watching them I couldn't help but think about how the shack is going to last, after all, the boys are still growing.  Sooner or later the boys would get too big for the shack and they would need more space to run around and keep Moony under control. I wonder when it'll be safe enough for him to roam the forest. I let out another yawn as the boys shuffled into another room. I could feel myself starting to doze off every now and then. Just watching them run around the shack made me feel tired.  Padfoot had stepped out of their little wrestling match for a moment, looking towards me with curiosity. He trotted over and nudged my head with his own, as if he were asking me to join along in the fun. I let out a huff in response, I was too tired to play tonight. He gave me a somewhat sad look before returning to our friends. They seemed to be enjoying themselves, surely I'd be okay if I took just a little nap. I'd only be asleep for an hour...

Sirius POV

Light peaked through the cracks and curtains throughout the shrieking shack, dimly lighting place. Prongs, Moony and Wormtail woke up an hour ago. They were quietly talking to themselves while I sat on the bed with Elsie, who was still fast asleep. She was completely out of it. Though something about seeing her like this was peaceful. From how she was curled into a small ball to her dark scruffy hair all sprawled out, slightly covering her face. It seemed to cause her a little distress as her nosed twitched every time a strand fell from behind her ear. It was only now that I noticed her robes were slightly too big for her. The sleeves reaching her fingers, her small hands rested near her pale face.

I couldn't help myself... I cant believe I'm thinking this. She looked so cute when she slept. I tucked her hair back, the smallest of smiles formed on her face.  Her hair was soft, and I began to run my hands through it and occasionally brought my hand to her cheek. Her face just as soft as it looked. "Padfoot... What are you doing there mate?" Prongs waltzed over cheekily, the biggest grin on his face. I looked back to Elsie who was still fast asleep. "I... Uh..." I didn't know what to say. I was lost for words. "Yeah, you do seem to be going a little red there" Moony came over to investigate, a confused Wormtail trailing behind him. "Care to tell us what you were doing?"

"I... She looked so.. She had a strand in the way! I..." They looked like they were about to burst into laughter, I'm guessing they were trying to control themselves so they wouldn't wake our little friend up. "It seems like Padfoot has a crush, don't you think Moony?" He nodded in agreement. "Padfoots in love?" Wormtail asked, still clueless of the situation. I had been defeated, there was no use denying that I maybe just maybe I had a little crush. There was no use arguing with them. hey would only make the situation worse. "Now isn't the time, we should head to breakfast"

"Yeah I don't want to miss out on another breakfast!" I sighed and looked back over to our sleeping Vixen. "I don't want to wake her though..." She looked so peaceful there, even in a worn out bed she looked so comfortable. She moved slightly and yawned, getting more comfortable by the looks of it.  "Then carry her then, we will wake her when we arrive at the castle" Moony suggested as he made his way outside. I did as he said, carefully picking up the  girl in my arms. I could feel her snuggle up closer to me as we walked, a small sigh escaping her lips and a twitch from her nose. The moment didn't last long when we finally got back to the castle, she woke up confused and a little dazed. I thought I almost saw a blush form on her face when I put her down. Maybe I was imagining it or maybe I wasn't. I couldn't be sure.

"You know... I think you're right Prongs"
