"Remus I don't think we'll find any tonight" I huffed, we had borrowed James' cloak for the night. Since we had started creating the map, we had only found 3 secret passage ways, all leading to Hogsmeade. Were we ever gonna get something a little more interesting? "I'm sure we can find at least one tonight" We made our way through the empty halls, occasionally wandering past a snoring painting. "I think there was down that hall from what I've heard" He mutters. "From who exactly?"
"Some seventh years from the library..." They always liked messing with the younger students, hopefully they weren't wrong. "So I heard Slughorns party was interesting" Although the halls were dark I knew he was smiling, I could hear it in his voice. "You could say that" I could feel my face heat up, just thinking about it made me as red as a tomato. "I guess you owe me those five sickles" It's not like I can give him the money now, I didn't have my coin purse on me. "You should have seen him last full moon, the morning he carried you back. Never seen him blush that hard before" I smiled at the thought, it surely would have been amusing for them. "If only I were awake to see it"
"Well then it wouldn't have happened, now would it?" He asked. I could hear the smirk in his voice. He was getting a kick out of this. We made it to a statue, a witch with one eye. "Surely this one is a passage way" I examine the witch, I wondered what the story was behind her eye. Surely it's something interesting. "Those seventh years better be right or James will be scolding us all night"
"Dissendium" Remus whispered as he waved his wand. The witch slowly moved and revealed a passage way. "You were saying" He boasts. Proudly taking the cloak off and taking the lead. "Remmy stop you're starting to sound like James" He smirked, although he was the most responsible of us all, he was still just as mischievous. "Remmy?" He chuckles. "Yes. It suits you, deal with it" We continued down the passage way, the cloak was off and our wands were out. "So what did you and Peter get up to the other night anyway?"
"Peter slept and I worked on an essay" Well that was straight to the point. "Sounds fun" I mutter. Our conversation died down as reached an opening. A long ladder led up to a trapdoor. Wait a minute...I smell something sweet. "I think we made it to honeydukes!" Remus whispered almost too loudly but he was right. We had made it to honeydukes. "We should go back and let the others know what we found"
We took a longer route back, just in case we came across another passage. Little did we know Filch was wondering the halls. Why did he have to be on the seventh floor? "Remus his cat can sense us, what do we do?" We couldn't hide, not even with the cloak. That cat was smart dammit. "Lets just keep going until we find a classroom or something" We quietly made our way down the halls, stopping in front of a large black door. Had it always been there? We both looked towards the door and walked in. I took the cloak off of us and stretched. "Do you think we will be alright here?" I asked. "If we are quiet then probably"
I wonder what classroom we are in, it doesn't seem like a classroom but more like a storage room. There were so much random things, books, furniture and even statues! "Hey do you think this is some kind of storage room?" I asked, he sat on a nearby sofa and let his eyes wander the room. "I think we may be in the room of requirement Vixy" Oh I've heard about this place, apparently it only appears in a time of need but we don't exactly need it for anything else but hiding. "Well isn't that helpful... should we tell the others?"
"You know I think perhaps we should keep this to ourselves, they might abuse the power of it" We waited half an hour before heading back to the common room. "What took you guys so long?" James, Sirius and Peter were waiting by the fireplace. Worry painted all over their face. While Remus explained the passage we found I rushed upstairs, grabbing my purse and rushing back down. I took Remus' hand and placed five sickles in it. "You won, fair and square"
"What's going on?" Peter looks between us as clueless as always.
