"Did you like question ten, Moony?" Padfoot asked as walked out of the great hall. "Loved it, name five signs that identify the werewolf. Excellent question." He replied happily, a small smirk formed on his face. We had just finished one of our O.W.L's for defence against the dark arts. I'm sure Remus enjoyed it though, seeing as werewolves were involved. It's funny when you think about it. Lets just hope he got good marks... But this is Moony so there's no doubt he did. "Do you think you managed to get all the signs?" Prongs asked in a jokingly tone. "I think I did" His furry friend replied seriously. We opened the doors and entered the court yard, it was sunny and warm today. Perfect weather. "Firstly, he was sitting in my chair. Secondly, he's wearing my robes. Three, his name is Remus Lupin" We laugh at his comment, great answers. Just brilliant but I don't think Peter got the joke. "I'm hoping you didn't actually write that for answers" He looked so worried." I got the snout shape, the pupils-" he kept rambling on worriedly." How thick are you Wormtail?" I can see James was starting to get impatient." You run around with a werewolf once a-"
"Keep your voices down!" Moony cut them off. We walked further down the lawn, soon reaching the lake. I turn to see if anyone was behind me, only seeing a few students. Including Severus but he was still focusing on his papers. Once we got to a tree near the lake I climbed it happily. Good thing I wore black tights, it would be stupid to climb wearing a skirt without wearing some sort of pants underneath. Damn good thing I lost my school shoes as well because I ended up wearing a worn out pair of converses today. Great for climbing of course. Looking down on my friends I could see James had started playing with a snitch he had 'borrowed', Sirius watched the scenery obviously bored, Remus read as usual and Peter picked at the grass. They talked among themselves while I swung my legs back and forth. "I'm bored" Sirius huffed. Remus had told him to study, but only got "I already know it all" In return, but I wasn't sure if it was entirely true.
"This'll liven you up Padfoot" I turn to see where James was looking, Sirius had noticed too and started watching Severus like a hawk." Excellent.... Snivellus" This cant be good... Nope. "James, Sirius. Don't even think about it" The two stood up and ignored me. "Alright Snivellus?" James had said loudly. Severus seemed startled and grabbed out his wand, you idiot don't do it! I sigh when James had been able to disarm him. His wand had landed on the grass with a small thud. Everyone was starting to crowd around so they could watch Sev be bullied, even Wormtail got up to see. I jump off the tree as I see Lily storming over. This won't end well... As Sirius and James threw jinxes at Sev, Lily got closer. Sev had been choking on bubbly froth as Lily yelled. "LEAVE HIM ALONE" The two went silent, James' free hand instantly went to ruffle his dark hair. Why does he do that? His hair is always messy anyways. "Alright Evans?" At this moment, someone could mistake James for someone who is mature instead of a trickster he is. Too bad that Lily is smarter than that.
She glared at him with much hatred, I took my spot next to her. "Leave him alone" I repeated, Sirius looked at me sadly. I'm not taking his side on this one. Not a chance. "What has he ever done to you?" She asks him. "Well its more the fact that he exists, if you know what I mean..." I took a step forward but a strong hand pulled me back. "It will make it worse, as much as I want to see you to step in" Remus whispers in my ear. As much as I hated it... He was right but I didn't want to stand to the side and do nothing. As Remus spoke to me, Lily had began to scold James once again. "I will stop if you go out with me, Evans" Seriously? Out of all the situations he has to ask now? He is acting like a jerk. "Go on.... Go out with me and I will never lay a wand on Snivellus again" The two of them were really ticking me off right now.
The next moment went so fast. Lily and I were pleading James to stop, the next Severus was hanging upside down in the air. Many laughed, which made me angrier. "James I swear to Merlin if you don't stop I will loose it!" He doesn't deserve to be treated like this! I had asked James this time and for once he listened. "You're lucky they were here Snivellus-"
