"Where were you last night?!" Prongs held onto me tightly, his grasp suffocating me. "We were so worried, our little vixen out with the big wolfy" Gosh James is like the mother hen of our group. "James you don't need to be so worried, we just needed to hide somewhere because Filch was onto us" Moony yawned, lazily grabbing some toast as he spoke. "Yeah well Padfoot was even more worried, waited all night by the portrait waiting for you guys"

I look over to Padfoot who looked extremely awkward about the situation. "Prongs let go of me will you? A woman needs to breathe you know" He continued to hold on to me tightly. "But we were so worried!" I groaned, why did I have to be so small compared to the rest of them? "Come on Prongs let Vixy be" He muttered a 'fine' before letting me go. "Freedom!"  I used my newfound freedom to eat as much as I could before lessons start. Who knew that todays lessons would be so boring. Seriously, I love history but it can be so boring. Binns just drags on and on and on. I thought about what Remus had said the other night. "Psst... Elsie" Sirius whispers, handing me a small piece of paper. A note. Slowly I opened the small piece of paper.

Can we please talk after class?

My gaze wandered back to Sirius, who shot me a smirk. I guess I would have had to face him sooner or later.  With the thought of the conversation growing rapidly, I decided to return my attention to this boring lesson. It wasn't long before the professor finished his lecture and assigned our homework. "Can we go somewhere a bit private?" Sirius wandered over as I gathered my things. "Where do you have in mind?" He grabs my hand and leads me through the castle, we passed many corridors and even past James who seemed confused at our rushed state. "No one will bother us here" It seemed like an old classroom, one that hadn't been used in years by the looks of it. The furniture was worn out and a thick layer of dust covered everything like snow.

"Look Elsie, I'll get straight to the point. It's been a while since I admitted my feelings and I want to know how you fe-" I did not know how I could've expressed my feelings for him. Our lips just melted together. "You really mean that?" He asked as we pulled apart. "I'm just as surprised as you are Padfoot"

As weeks passed, Sirius and I grew even closer. Our relationship didn't surprise the others in fact I think was the complete opposite. James wouldn't stop boasting about he knew all along that we would get together, it got to a point were even Remus was getting annoyed. "Lads and Lady! Its finished!" James burst into the common room waving about a large piece of parchment. "Whats done?" Peter looks up from his bag of sweets, confusion had covered his face. "The map Wormy! The map is done!" James squeezes himself between Sirius and myself as he opens up the map. "Brilliant! What should we do first?" Not even day and they are already glued to the map. "Find out wherever Evans is of course!" Of course that's all James would use it for.  "You won't be stalking the poor girl all the time will you?" Remus turns his attention to the two of them. "Of course not... Not all the time"

While the boys talked about their plans I decided to head down to dinner early. It didn't take me long to find the fiery red head at Gryffindor table.  "Lily!" I wrapped my arms around her but only got a cough in response. "I'm eating you know" She places her spoon down pats the seat next to her. "It's been a while since we have hung out" She says as she continues to eat what seems to be soup. Maybe stew? I'm not sure. "Well I have been busy... I'm sorry Lils"

"So I have heard" She took another spoonful of soup, her gaze never leaving mine. "It seems that Blacks new girlfriend has caused some trouble among the girls, they seem pretty upset" Her smirk only grew, of course the news of Sirius and I had spread like wild fire. Of course Lily had to tease me about it. "Well that's there problem isn't it?" We continued to chat over dinner. I had missed spending time with Lily. Sometimes being around the boys all the time is just too much.
