H day 93

You were in the car on your way to Jimin's party, sitting in the passenger seat of Seokjin's car while Jungkook and Namjoon were sitting behind you. You were nervous, really nervous, nervous for yourself and Jungkook. Taehyung was going to be there an you just hope that he doesn't bring his 'friend' he had been talking to you about.

"Y/N?", Jin's voice brought you out of your daze, responding in a hum as you looked at him. "You look pale, if you don't feel comfortable going you don't have to."

"No its fine, I'm just worried", you looked through the mirror seeing jungkook looking back at you, "besides were almost there, and what type of friend would I be if I wasn't here."

"You know the rules, right?"

"Yes I know the rules, Namjoon, we both do."

"Tell another before we run off-"

"But don't tell one of them", I finished Jungkook's sentence.

"And?"

"Hold it back?", I questioned Seokjin.

"Don't initiate any skin ship yourself", Jungkook answered.

Silence rang through the car as it pulled up to Jimin's driveway, taking a deep heavy breath as you took of your seatbelt, about to get out but stopped when Seokjin grabbed your arm. "I know how it feels, okay, but you've just gotta push through it."

"I know, but its still going to work out differently. Yours got cured", you opened the door with a bag in your hand, shutting it behind you and looking at Jungkook who stood in front of you. "Come on."

You grabbed his hand and pulled him up to the door where namjoon stood waiting for someone to open the door.

"You guys showed!", Taehyung's voice came from the door as the to of you arrived, "everyone's already here we were just waiting for the four of you, but we didn't know you would be together."

"Well were here anyway, so let's go inside, its cold", Namjoon spoke causing Taehyung to step to the side allowing the four of us to stop.

"Jungkook! I've missed you!", Taehyung said as Jungkook and I walked through the door, pulling the younger into a quick hug before Jungkook pulled back.

"I've missed you too, Tae", the smile he wore looked real but broken, and his voice was a slightly different pitched, causing you to step up next to him.

"Hey Tae, how have you been?", Jungkook walked off, quickly going to sit down and calm himself while you continued distracting Taehyung.

"I've been great, my parents had been over recently, which is why I've had to cancel on Jungkook a lot recently, but my parents have gone back home now so I'll make it all back up to Kookie", you saw Seokjin looking over and watching the two of you.

"That's great Tae! But maybe you should have told Jungkook, he didn't know and was in a bad mood every time."

"Oh", he looked over at the younger who had occupied himself talking to Yoongi. "I'll tell him today!"

"He'll like to hang out with you Tae."

"He would? I hope so, I miss going out-"

"Hey baby girl", you hear Jimins voice and turn around thinking he's talking to you, mistaken as he places a kiss on Soobins cheek who had been sitting in the living room with everyone.

"Y/N? Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, I just wanted to wish Jimin a happy birthday since I heard him walk in."

"Well let's go join everyone."

Some time had passed and you still hadn't wished and barely greeted Jimin because Soobin would always interrupt, whining about something new every time, smirking every time Jimin would focus on her instead of you. So you continued talking to Taehyung, keeping him away from Jungkook for the time being.
