"Hey Bucky, What if we asked (y/n)?" I looked up upon hearing my name. "Do you want to go out with both of us?" Bucky spoke openly. My eyes widened and I was about to answer when a large boom sounded outside.Less than a minute later the floor shook violently. Bucky and Steve ran to the window to see what was going on. I followed close behind to see that there was smoke rising from nearly a mile away. My heart sunk and the boys ran to the The king and Queen. As soon as the guys left the room I flipped my mattress and grabbed the emergency pack I was told to set for myself when I was younger. I restocked it every year and made sure that I was always prepared for this moment. I was trained to protect myself and though I didn't show it I knew that this was finally the time for my real purpose to come into play.

I ran out into the hallway to notice the ceiling about to cave in. I manage to sprint to the end of the corridor before The entire portion of the building collapsed. I ran to the headquarters of the escorts. That section of the building had also collapsed. That means that I am the only escort left to get the royal family out before the attack gets to them. I ran to where the king and queen were residing. I expected that James and Steve went that way as well. The King and queen lay in their bed as if nothing was going on. James had been yelling at them to get up and Steve stared in disbelief. "Our time is up. (y/n) will be taking you where you need to be." The king gesture to me. His voice was horrifyingly calm. "(y/n) you knew about this?" Steve looked at you like a lost puppy. "It was a back up plan incase something like this happened. I wasn't informed that you wouldn't be coming with us."I turned my attention back to the King and Queen.

"That wasn't the original plan. We know that if they find us here they will assume all of you have died too." The Queen elaborated. "Wait, all of us?" Steve seemed even more confused than before. "(y/n) has been living with us for the last 12 years as a servant to lay low." James cut in just as I was about to speak. "To lay low? What's going on? Why would she have to lay low?" Steve was panicking but clearly wasn't going to let a secret kill us. He grabbed both mine and James' hands and looked at me with clear determination. "Lead us out of here." James let go of Steve's hand and ran to him parents. He hugged each of them crying and say goodbye. He came back reluctantly and I waved goodbye to them as the King nodded to me. I quickly lead them to a wall at the dining area and slammed my fist into it as hard as I could. A section of the wall pushed in and slid to the right revealing a secret passage way. I took Steve's hand again and continued to lead them into the path going down below the castle on a training area that neither of the two men behind me knew about. After about 5 minutes of walking we could hear the castle above us crashing down.

My heart stopped as I felt the rumble end. I felt hot tears tracing the edges of my face. I had to keep walking even if every part of me wanted to break. I couldn't remember any of my family before the fire. I just knew the king and queen and they always treated me well. Since I was in front of both of the boys I could hear them whispering but they couldn't see or hear me crying. I was happy about that. At least they wouldn't see me breaking down for the hundredth time now. We walked for about ten more minutes and my tears faded leaving my eyes slightly red and my face streaked. James made a comment to Steve about me not having spoken for nearly 20 minutes now. My patience snapped and I turned back to them stopping dead in my tracks. "Y'know maybe I haven't spoken because I know that if I say something it will only hurt more and I'm probably going to say something I'll regret." The stood stunned unable to utter another word. I turned back Walking away from them they soon caught up to me and walked silently behind me.

We made it to the place we needed to be only moments later. I opened the door and gestured for the boys to enter and followed behind them shutting and locking the door behind me. Vision was there ready anytime we were. "Hello Mr. Rodgers, How have you been?" He also seemed calm but for him this was normal. It's not like he could die. "I've been better. But if were talking about the experiment, I am doing perfect. Nothing is going wrong in that department at least." I guess Steve had his secrets as well. "Mr. Barnes I'm am terribly sorry about your parents." James looked down refusing to speak. "Ms.(l/n) Is everything alright? You seem upset." He was genuinely concerned. I could tell. "I'm doing fine I guess. Do you have any readings on the test?" my words seemed to pierce him.
