Chapter 20

On their journey to find Naruto, Sasuke slowly became lonelier and lonelier as his friends fought off Orochimaru's experiments who were aiding in Naruto's journey to Orochimaru.

Kiba, Neji, Shikamaru and Choji all won their fights but with a heavy toll. They were all injured badly and Neji nearly lost his life. Rock Lee is the only one running with Sasuke.

Sasuke panted heavily, suddenly a bone-like kunai shot towards him. He put his arms in front of him in a defensive manner, but he felt nothing.

He slowly opened his eyes to see Gaara and Rock Lee standing side by side in their fighting stances, ready to face their opponent.

"Go on! We'll handle him!" Gaara ordered. Sasuke grinned, he thanked them before running away. Their opponent turned to attack Sasuke but Lee appeared behind him.

"We are your opponents! It is unyouthful to turn down a challenge!" Lee exclaimed and put his hand in front of him, taunting his enemy.

Sasuke finally arrived at the Valley of the End. He panted heavily and his heart pounded in his chest. "NARUTO!!!" Sasuke roared. The blonde on the other statue that he stood on stopped walking.

Slowly the blonde turned around to reveal his left face covered in black tattoos, his right eyes contained the Sharringan and his left eye the Emperor Eye. "Hey... little brother." Naruto greeted, the tone was cold-hearted, it contained no emotion.

Sasuke looked at Naruto, wide-eyed. He regained his composure and clenched his fists tightly. "Come back!" Sasuke yelled, "please! Come back to us!!"

Naruto just stared at Sasuke and he chuckled. "I'll say this once: begging will not work. I will not change my mind. Go home." Naruto declared and turned around. Sasuke gritted his teeth and jumped.

The blonde looked back and Sasuke landed on him. Sasuke raised his fist, hesitant to punch his brother. He looked at Naruto's expressionless face and he punched him hard.

It unfazed Naruto, he slowly turned his head to face Sasuke. Naruto spat blood on Sasuke's cheek. "Why are you doing this?" Sasuke asked, his body shook. "Ever since you fought Orochimaru, ever since you got that curse mark... you changed."

"I'm doing this of my own choices. This is what I want. If you want to beat me like the villagers, then I'll just have to simply beat it into you." Naruto said.

"Do you really think that I'd want to come back to that hell hole?" Naruto asked and he punched his brother off of him. Sasuke went flying, he flipped and landed on Hashiramas fingers looking up to face Naruto.

"Damn it! Listen to yourself Naruto-nii!!" Sasuke yelled, "this isn't you! Please just come back!"

"I don't think so," Naruto said and pointed at Sasuke, "I'll give you one chance. If you defeat me then I'll stay, but, if I win leaving." Naruto explained.

Sasuke couldn't think of any other way and he nodded in response. Naruto just looked down at Sasuke who slowly got into a stance. Before Sasuke could move, Naruto lunged himself towards Sasuke. He kicked him hard on the stomach.

Sasuke coughed out blood, he fell off the statues hand, but he channelled chakra to his feet and stood on the side of the finger. Naruto did the same and went for another kick.

Sasuke dodged the kick and he too tried to kick Naruto, but Naruto countered. He caught Sasuke's leg and he swung him around and around.

He then let go of Sasuke and punched him on the face, sending his little brother down and into the water.
