Chapter 1

Hey guys! A quick note before we start the book! In this story Naruto is 1 year old than everyone, he also has all chakra infinities. Sasuke will also have an additional infinity. This is all for plot purposes ^-^

This also takes place before the wave mission. :3

Naruto was on his way to see Sasuke, who was at the hospital after a match against him for training. But, it got a little too serious and both boys ended up getting hurt, luckily Naruto was fully healed and his wounds were nothing but scars, thanks to Kurama.

Just before he entered the room he saw Sakura walking down the hallway. "Hey Sakura-chan!!" The blonde exclaimed with his signature grin.

Sakura ignored him, Naruto could tell that she had ignored him, like always, but put up a big fake smile. He opened the door to reveal Sasuke, aka duckbutt, staring outside the window.

Sasuke turned his head to face his visitors.

Sakura ran straight to him and hugged him. Naruto stood there, by the door, upset that he was just left out and no one seemed to care about him, like always.

He put up a fake grin once again, but deep down he was really hurt and broken. It hurt him so much just to even put up a smile, if only they really understood what he really was, who he really was.

Sasuke just stared at Sakura clearly uncomfortable but he shook it off and looked up seeing Naruto's grin making him scoff.

"Well I guess I'll come some other time then," Naruto said sadly breaking the silence, "bye." Naruto opened the door, leaving Saduke with Sakura.

When he left Naruto leaned against the door, slowly sliding down. He wanted to scream, but he knew that his screams would never be heard. It hurt him so much, how no one cared about him, how no one treated him equally and how no one will ever be there for him. He was alone. Always has and always will be.

Forcing himself, he stood up and left the hospital. Suddenly a familiar figure appeared before Naruto with a big grin. "Yo! Gaki!" Jiraiya exclaimed. Naruto's face lit up and he rushed over to the Sannin.

"Hey pervy-sage!" Naruto exclaimed Jiraiya ruffled his blond locks while Naruto chuckled, "what are you doing here?"

"I just came to visit my pupil and also Tsunade wanted to talk to you." Jiraiya explained. The two made their way to Ichiraku Ramen where Tsunade was waiting for them.

"Whats up baa-chan?" Naruto asked grinning.

"Naruto I have to say that it has been at least eight years since you became captain of the Elite Anbu team. I congratulate you for making it this far." Tsunade said with a proud smile.

Naruto looked at the blonde. At least someone acknowledges me. Naruto thought with a big bright grin. "It was thanks to you and pervy-sage!" He grinned earning smiles from the two Sannins.

"Anyway, Jiraiya has suggested that you go with him to train for two years. If you wish to go you will be leaving in two days." Tsunade explained pointing to Jiraiya who was busy eyeing women that passed by.

Naruto simply nodded, he said his goodbyes to both Sannins and sunshined to his room so that he didn't have to face his "parents" and started to pack his things.

After packing, Naruto sunshined to the gates and began walking towards the secret training grounds he had discovered when he was wandering in the forest when he was five years old to train.
