Chapter 16

*Jungkook POV*

I was afraid.

I was very afraid.

My body kept shaking and I couldn't move a muscle. My eyes were covered, but I could sense that I was being held in a small cold room. I was freezing, my cold sweat adding more to that effect and making me shiver.

I wanted to scream, but something stopped me from doing so. Yes, fear. Fear stopped me from doing what I thought I could do to escape.

I was held captive. Someone kidnapped me from outside the university. It had been five days since then.

I was hungry. I was thirsty. I was going insane.

"Listen here." A whisper. It's been days since I heard a human voice. "I need you to listen to me very carefully." Someone said, their voice really similar to mine. After a pause I felt the cold sharpness of a knife being pushed against my throat. I gasped. "You feel that, don't you? Well... That's gonna go deeper if my plans don't go the way I want them to, do you hear me?" He asked, pushing the knife even deeper.

He stood really close to me, I could feel his breath on me. His grunts and pants made me think he was either injured or very tired, but judging from his breathing he sounded more like sick. He obviously was laboring his breaths and his coughing later on made me sure that something was wrong with him. He sounded desperate.

"What do you want?" I quietly asked, my voice shaking from fear.

"Oh, what I want is very simple." He stopped and removed the knife from my neck and dragged it down from my forehead to my lips. "I want you dead." I felt his cold fingers on my face, removing the blindfold gently and slowly.

I blinked a couple of times until my eyes adjusted to the harsh lighting. I looked around and saw the man standing right in front of me. It was only when he cocked his head forward that I saw his face and it resembled...

Me?

"Surprised, ain't ya?" He asked and mad laughter erupted from him. "Well, you won't be surprised for long!" He shouted in front of my face. "After I'm done with you, I can finally go to my normal life! That damn V ruined me! Ruined my world! And all that for what?! For you? For me? For that damn Jimin?" The guy just stood there, shouting, taking out his frustration on me. "NO! All that to satisfy himself!" He screamed.

I had to just sit there, tied to a chair, listening to this mad man. I was afraid, but more than ever I was confused.

"I was once just like you." He continued. "I had a normal life, studying at university until that damn man came running along. We had a blast, oh yes we did! But it didn't last for long... He brought with himself a disease, one that was incurable. And do you know what it did to me?" He asked. The other me rolled his sleeves and showed a really bad looking arm. His veins popped up, a purple substance running through them. It looked disgusting to say the least. "This is what he did to me." He whispered. "Of course, this won't happen to you. He has to be more careful because you're his last chance. He finally found you and Jimin together. A world where both of you exist without him. Now he can fill in the gap and leave me like a used toy..." The sorrow in his tone made my heart ache.

Suddenly I felt sharp pain in my stomach.

I looked down and saw that I was stabbed, blood soaking up my shirt. A gasp escaped me. I looked up again and saw that the man had a sinister smile slapped on his face. I didn't know how to react, the pain was too much.

"I think I'll untie you now." He said and started to untie me. "With that wound, forget about escaping. I want you to suffer as much as you can. I want you to feel what I've been feeling." He said through his teeth. "Feel hopeless." He finally said and left the room, locking it behind him.

"Please, don't leave me alone.." Was all I could manage to whisper.

I tried to move, but all I did was fall to the ground, my legs not supporting me. I really did feel... hopeless.
