I know I have to limit the things that I need to tell her pero syempre kailangan ko na simulan ang mga plano ko, and one of this is to tell her about Monique. 

her face became serious and it seems like she's showing a little interest to it, so can I consider this as an objection from her kahit hindi ko pa nasasabi sa kanya?

"Kung may sasabihin ka bilang anak ko, pwede rin bang may sabihin ako sa'yo as your mother?" she said and I must admit, hindi ko inaasahan iyon, paano kung kasalungat sa sasabihin ko ang sasabihin niya?

I took a deep breath na muna para mag-ipon ng lakas ng loob, "It's about Monique," I directly said,

"What about her? Is she coming,?" She asked so casually, something I didn't expected from her, I was expecting she's going to show me her cold and walang-paki-sa-universe attitude pero hindi. It's not what I'm seeing right now.

I looked at her trying to composed myself and took a deep breath again, I must take in consideration the outcome of this, it may change positively or the opposite, "I'm going to marry her, I formally proposed to her last time in Camiguin, and I want to make things clear that I won't let dad and you interfere anymore!" Tiningnan ko siya at nakikinig lang siya sa'kin, I'm not seeing any signs of objection, is this for real? "I want to make things clear, with or without your permission, I'm still going to marry her!" I exclaimed in a calm manner.

Inulit-ulit ko na para ma-gets niya talaga pero the same reaction pa rin. Ano ba?!

She nodded a bit as an indication that she got my point, sana naman na gets niya rin kung ano talaga ang sinabi ko, na kahit wala sila sa magiging kasal ko at wala akong suportang manggagaling sa kanila, I don't care!

She sighed, "Well, I was hoping you'd tell me about it and then here you are," ngumiti siya, "You did, and I appreciate that," she smiled. 

So, anong nangyayari?!

"A-are you fine with it? or you're going to tell dad about it so you can plan something to stop me? send me to Germany or something?" I asked at pinagmamasdan ko ang reaksyon niya and this time, napatingin siya sa'kin.

She smiled looking at me and weird as it feel pero hinawakan niya ang kamay ko, "I actually knew about it already," she smiled and I knew it, may mga spy pa rin talaga sila! damn! "Sinabi sa'kin ni Doctor Martin ang naging proposal mo sa anak niya,"

She smiled. What the actual fck?!

Napakunot ang noo ko sa narinig mula kay Mommy, really?

"Well, as you can see, hindi na rin naman talaga ako nabigla sa anunsyo mo, the moment when you told your dad you're going back here, na kahit ayaw niya'y kinumbinsi ko siya ay alam ko sa aking sarili ko na gagawin mo nga ang bagay na'yon. Ang balikan si Monique at dahil nasa tamang edad na rin naman kayo para mag pakasal ay iyon na nga ang ginawa mo." she laughed a bit.

Siya nag convince sa matandang lalaki na iyon na payagan akong bumalik sa Germany?! Si Laura din dib?

"W-why, why do you have to do that?" I bravely asked, I wanna know.

Napabuntong hininga siya at mas humigpit ang pagkakahawak niya sa kamay ko, "because of you, I want you to enjoy your life, I want you to be happy like you should have been long time ago." I saw her eyes glittering and sparkling from the tears she's about to drop, hindi ko minsan inakala na ganito pala ka emosyonal ang mommy ko.

"Nakalimutan ng daddy mo kung paano kami nagsimula," she said as an intro at napakunot lang ang noo ko, yuck, is she trying to tell me hers and that old man's love story? Kingina--mmk pa ata 'to!
