"Clover, is that you?"

Cecilia closed the book she was reading upon hearing a loud thud in their apartment, and got out of her bed to open her door and check what's happening, but she stopped in her tracks after hearing a few more thuds. That was not Clover. Judging from the heaviness of the thuds, she guessed they were caused by multiple, probably heavy men. She didn't have time to retreat and hide before her door got slammed open and three armed men walked in. One of the men shouted, "we have one here!" while the other two men grabbed her by both arms, proving her struggles futile.

"Let me go!"

The third man walked towards her and pushed a cloth inside her mouth, muffling Cecilia's desperate cries.

"Take her away. Make sure she doesn't see anything on the way."

They dragged her out of her room and Cecilia managed to frantically look around in search for Clover, before they covered her eyes. She stopped struggling. Clover wasn't there.

A few days prior

"W-wow... I didn't expect all of you to actually come..."

Cecilia stared at the group in front of her in awe. She'd revealed their rebelling plan to the group after announcing that she and Anthony were dating, and had asked everyone to meet her the next day in the Blind Forest if they wanted to be counted in on the plan.

"Well, it's about our friends after all. After hearing your story, I couldn't just sit still," Elias said with a small smile as he looked around.

"But, where's our main man, Anthony? Isn't he the main reason why you started rebelling in the first place?"

Cecilia chuckled softly, "didn't you notice the fact that I'd told you about the rebelling plan only after Anthony was gone? Mister Hothead retreated from this plan and would probably burn me alive if he knew I am doing this, so would you do me a favor and not talk to him about this? I value my life."

Elias grinned and gave her a nod.

Cecilia clasped her hands and looked around the group again before speaking, "alright then, if we're all ready, let's start. Since you all came here, I trust that you'll try to help the best you can. If you get scared along the way, that's fine, you can quit this whole plan but I hope none of you would ever consider telling on us to the authorities."

She took a breath and glanced briefly at Julian, who despite his decision to come still looked displeased. She knew he had a good relationship with the higher-ups, he was one of their favorites after all, so he got good treatment from them.

"Anyone already wanna call it quits? It's still not too late. It'll be a lot harder to do so later."

Cecilia waited expectantly, holding her breath as she waited for someone to stand up. Jude lift his hand in the air and Cecilia nodded at him, allowing him to speak.

"If we go along with your plan, we'll have the authorities against us if we're found out, right?"

"Yes."

"Then that'd mean we're no longer safe here when that happens, right?"

Cecilia hesitated for a bit, wondering what Jude was trying to get at, since she wasn't able to read his thoughts. He controls minds so obviously, he knew how to block his thoughts from her as well.

"Yes, that's true."

Jude didn't break eye contact with her as he continued speaking, "and that means we'll have to leave this place, does it not?"
