Felicia skidded to a halt at the doorstep, panting heavily as she bent down and placed her hands on her knees to support herself.

"Clover came? When? Where is she now?"

Jude, who had also gathered together with Eden, fired away the questions everyone had on their minds. Felicia shook her head.

"She's already gone back-"

"Back where?"

Anthony interrupted her to ask, and she threw him a glare, "I'm trying to explain but you guys keep interrupting me."

"Sorry."

Felicia took a breath and straightened her back, "I saw her briefly before she left. It was completely by chance that I saw her in the first place. She gave me this note, though. I believe it's for you," she gave Cecilia a note, who took it wordlessly and put it in her pocket.

"So, what did she say to you?"

"Nothing much. She had a discussion with Matthew, who was with me at the time and he suddenly looked grim, ran off to get his bag and then they disappeared. When I asked her where she'd been, and where she was going, she just said there was trouble in other timelines and that she needs to go back, and that we should be careful when using our powers. I don't even know why she's prioritizing other timelines over us, but whatever."

Cecilia frowned, remembering Clover's words from a few weeks ago.

"Could this be related to that time when she suddenly asked if my powers ever malfunctioned?"

"I don't know, I was just surprised to see her suddenly appear and disappear like that."

"Wait, but you said Matthew disappeared with her. Why?" Anthony cut into their conversation, also frowning deeply and looking a bit lost. Felicia snapped at him, "I'm telling you, I don't know!" she averted her gaze to Cecilia, "Cecilia, maybe that note she gave you includes some answers."

Cecilia nodded and took the note out of her pocket, carefully opening it before quickly reading it, her eyes flying over the words.

"She's saying she's sorry for leaving me when she heard those men enter our apartment, and apologizes for not coming back sooner. A few directions to things she has hidden in her room, but I know Jude has already retrieved everything. It seems she detected a few notable inconsistencies in other timelines, and needs Matthew to confirm her suspicions. She's- wait," Cecilia abruptly stopped reading out loud and continued in silence.

"What does it say?"

"She's saying she saw different timelines collide with eachother."

"What does that mean?"

It was Julian this time who spoke up, looking slightly agitated.

"According to what's written here, the collision of different timelines is causing these inconsistencies and creating timelines which, in theory, should not be able to exist. They're causing paradoxes all over the place, and they're spreading."

"So, why is she getting involved? It's in other timelines, isn't it? Then there's no reason for her to involve herself with it. She should come back and focus on what's really important here."

Cecilia looked up and gave Julian a hateful glare as she lowered the note for a moment, "you clearly don't know how to use your brains very well, otherwise you wouldn't even think of saying such ridiculous things."

"Cecilia-" Eden stepped forward, trying to get in between them, but Cecilia lift her hand without averting her gaze, stopping him in his tracks.

"Didn't I just say she wrote that these paradoxes are spreading? Do you even know what that means? Those paradoxes are creating black holes, which can make a whole world disappear. The timelines that collide with eachother are basically self-destructing, and it's affecting other timelines as well. She's getting involved to prevent our timeline from disappearing as well. Focus on what's really important? Don't make me laugh. She's doing more important things than you are, weather boy."
