"What do they want?"
"You, obviously!"
Felicia stopped pacing through her apartment room and threw Anthony an annoyed glare.
"You weren't careful enough with your actions. They're getting on your case. I hope for you that you have all you need, cause it seems they're going to be surveilling around her apartment."
"Is there a sign of Clover yet?"
"No, obviously."
Anthony ran a hand through his hair, "Cecilia's still missing?"
Felicia huffed, "no, she magically managed to escape from that place and has come back with souvenirs for all of us. Yes, Anthony! Cecilia is still missing!"
Felicia was fuming and Anthony also threw her an angry look, "well sorry for checking on the situation! You're not the only one who's stressed out!"
"Both of you shut up."
Jude stepped between the two of them and gave them each a warning glare.
"Whatever it is those people want from us, we can't let them have it. We seem to have Cecilia's personal diary, maybe there's some answers in there."
"If anyone's going to read it, let me be the person to do that. I'm her boyfriend, after all."
"No, you won't read it. I'm her best friend together with Clover and Annabelle. If anyone's going to read her diary, it should be one of us."
"Enough!"
Jude raised his voice and a rumble went through the apartment, shaking the ground.
"Alec, have you found any hiding spots yet?"
"Yeah. There's an abandoned train station underground. The place was closed when they cut off contact with the outside world and it's been deserted for at least a decade. If we don't plan on leaving this city just yet, that would be the best place to hide."
Alec finally broke his silence and showed Jude a picture of the place he was talking about, who in turn inspected it closely and nodded.
"Okay, Anthony and I will be staying there for tonight and over the weekend. If we need anything, we'll call for your help, alright, Alec?"
"Fine by me. Do you want me to bring you there now?"
Jude turned to Anthony, "are you ready?"
"Wait," Anthony stood up and walked towards Felicia, handing her the phoenix, "I found this wounded bird outside the elements dormitory, please put it in that space where you put everything that you make disappear."
"Wait, this thing doesn't look wounded at all-"
Anthony cut her off, "it's wounded. If you just make it disappear and occasionally make food disappear as well, it should be alright, right? I'm counting on you."
Anthony then turned to Jude and nodded.
"Alright, we're ready to go."
Alec stepped between the two guys and placed his hands on each of their shoulders and in a flash, they'd arrived at what seemed to be an abandoned train platform.
"It really is deserted here." Anthony breathed as he stepped forward, looking around.
"Yeah, there's a control room somewhere near the middle of the underground track. It's not directly in sight and a pretty closed off room, so it should be a good place to hide."
"You sure managed to do a lot of research in just a few days."
Jude smiled softly as he slapped Alec's back, "let's go."
