Chapter 21:

Greg POV:

I rubbed my cheek while heading to the school try outs. Man that girls can pack a punch!!! "Damn Captain what happend?" Bob spoke while poking my cheek. "Nothing." I growled and slapped his hand away. "Okay come on we have people to see." Bob wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"HERE IN SOCCER WE AREN'T CHICKEN WERE MEN AND WE HAVE NO FEAR, REGRET, OR BAD SPIRIT!!! NOW THE ONLY QUESTION LEFT IS....ARE YOU READY TO PLAY SOCCER!!!!!!???????!!!!!" I shouted to the group of newbes. Everybody shouted and jumped up and down. "Alright now here my trainy will hand the sing in form so ya'll can sign up." Pete walked to the newbes and handed them the form. After they signed there names I checked the list for all the names. I didn't see Zerin on the list. It's such a shame. "Alright fresh meat go run 5 laps." I shouted and all of them raced to finish. "What do you think Bob?" I pointed to the pictures of the newbes. "Hmm he won't, not him, not him, not him,..." Bob kept going threw the pics. "Funny that's what you said about me." I glared. "Well I was only kidding Captain." Bob laughed nervously. I laughed and rolled my eyes. I looked how the newbe ran around the field. It reminded me of how I worked hard to get on top.

"I'm sooooooo sorry that I'm late!!!!!" I saw Zerin run up to us in sweat pants, loose shirt and nike shoes. "I got caught up in a class!" Zerin tied her shoe. "Well start running 5 laps your behind 2 laps." I stated. Zerin nodded and started running. I practiced with a ball doing soem tricks. "Man Captain that was your specialty." Pete smiled and I laughed. "Really never noticed." I shrugged my shoulders. I watched the some guys finish and how Zerin ran to keep up with the guys. "Man she is fast!" Zane smirked. "Well she is the child of Austin Martin York." I stated. Zane was shocked. "Damn she must be amazing!" Zane smirked. "I guess you could say that." I shrugged. "Yeah right she ain't that good since captain beat her." Bob mumbled. "Yeah your right Captain is the best!" Zane smirked and wnet back to the gang. After everyone finished their running I made an obstacle course that teachs you different passing techniques. "Alright accomplish this obstacle and then you have a 5 minute break." I stated. The newbe started on the course.

After everyone finished. They all got a drink of water or a sport drink. I sat down and looked at the newbes. Then I notice Zerin was still on the field. I got up and walked to her. "I told you a five minute break." I stated at Zerin. "Well I have to get better to beat everyone so beat it!" She growled and I glared at her. "Why are you so determined?" I sat down next to her feet. "Well it's not your business you sick man!" She growled and walked away. "Hey Captain you got a phone call!!!" Bob talked sweetly. I rolled my eyes and rushed to answer the phone. "Hey Gina!" I smiled. "Hey Greg how are the newbes?" She joked. "Their pretty good, but not like your daddy." I joked. Gina laughed. "That's good well I was thinking maybe I could become the soccer manager if that's okay?" Gina mumbled. "Of course!" I laughed.

Zerin POV:

Poor girl she doens't even know she is being cheated on. "He makes me sick." I spit. "Why?" The sick boy tall friend spoke. "He a timer!" I growled and he started laughing. "I know he is good looking, but he would never cheat on his girlfriend. He is so happy with her you wouldn't know the half of it..." He mumbled. "Then who is this tutor or why did he go with a sl*t?" I raised an eyebrow. "Well he was a player, but he is still virgin and a naive boy. And his tutor is his girlfriend." He laughed and I felt like an idiot for slapping him. "Wow..." I walked up to him. The leader was on the phone talking to his girlfriend. "I love you Gina come back soon and safe." I heard him go. I felt piercing pain. Reminding me of the pain in my fake relationships. The leader closed his phone and turned around. "Hey..." I looked down. "Yeah what? Zerin?" He spoke and blushed nobody spoked my name so clear. "I want to apologize about the comment and about the slap. I didn't know." I smiled and he grinned. "That's okay Zerin I mean people can misunderstand right?" He laughed and I blushed. "Yeah!" I smiled. "You know Greg your pretty cool!" I smiled and he nodded. "Of course I'm the Captain!" He smirked and I rolled my eyes.
