As I made my way back home from hanging out with Shadow I couldn’t wait to see her again. We had been dating for a week now but it seemed as if we had been dating for months. Now when we hung out we did more than just swimming and talking. She was the most amazing girl I had ever met and I only wished that this summer would last forever. I finally got to the end of the forest and made my way to the cabin. My family had absolutely no idea about anything that was going on and that’s how I wanted it to stay. My parents actually thought that I was getting mono because I slept all day long and that made things even better for me. My family left me alone so I could rest and get better when I was actually catching up on sleep. I made my way upstairs and went into my room then got into my pajamas. I got into bed and instantly fell into some much needed sleep.

I was woken up by something poking me in the shoulder.

”Justin you feeling alright”? I heard my sister say. I didn’t bother even opening my eyes to look at her.

“Sarah, I’m tired, leave me alone and let me sleep in peace”. I told her and buried my face in my pillow.

“Alright…I’ll leave only if you tell me why you’ve been sneaking out these last couple nights”. She said and I felt my heart leap into my throat but I stayed clam.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about so go away”.

“OK then…maybe I’ll go ask mom and dad, I wonder if they would know”. She said and I jump out of my bed. I saw her walking out the door and I grabbed her hand and pulled her back.

“Don’t tell them please. Please don’t Sarah”.

I pleaded to her. For once I was happy beyond belief and I wasn’t going to let her ruin that.

“I won’t…if you tell me why you’re sneaking out”. She barked at me and I knew that I had a choice to make, tell Sarah the truth or let her ruin everything.

I didn’t think I could trust Sarah but I knew if I didn’t tell her the truth she would tell my parents and my life would be miserable.

“Alright…I’ll show you why I sneak out, I’ll wake you up around nine o’clock tonight. Please don’t tell them Sarah, Please”. I begged her and I saw a wicked smirk go across her face.

“I won’t. I got what I wanted so I’m happy. You know it’s so much fun to see you begging like this to me”. She hissed and I felt an awful rage burning though my body.

“I hate you Sarah” I hissed at her and she just smiled and walk away.

I felt completely helpless and lost all day. Could I really trust Sarah with my secret and what if she told my parents after she met Shadow? I thought about every horrible possibility that could happen till it was nine o’clock. I went into Sarah’s room and she was ready and waiting for me. We snuck outside and started to walk through the dark forest.

“Why do you have to sneak out so late”? She asked me and I just wanted her to keep her fat mouth shut.

“You already got what you wanted so don’t expect me to answer any questions”.

“Fine be like that”.

We were getting closer to the clearing where me and Shadow hung-out, I told Sarah to hang back until I called her. I hoped that maybe I could prepare Shadow for what was coming and prayed that everything would go smoothly. I made my way to the spot and saw Shadow standing there. She saw me immediately and ran over to me. She wrapped her arms around my neck and she started kissing me. I was happy to see her too and for a few minutes I forgot about my sister. We finished our greeting kisses, and she started running her fingers though my hair.
