It took a moment before (Y/n) could finally get Donna to calm down her hysterical giggles, before she turned to the TARDIS with a bright, mischievous grin.
"Want to help us out, mate?" She asked, before reaching over and randomly slamming a button. To her elated surprise- the button worked exactly as she wanted it to. The TARDIS began making a screeching wail, and in almost an instant a pair of footsteps could be heard running down the hallway. Both (Y/n) and Donna shot down to hide behind the TARDIS's console, peaking over to watch their master plan in action.
"Donna! (Y/-" They heard the Doctor screech, before he rammed into a thick layer of saran wrap covering the doorway he had planned to run through. His feet kicked up into the air as he let out a startled cry, his sonic screwdriver launched into the air.
Almost immediately, he was met with the screaming laughs of Donna Noble and (Y/n) (L/n). Lying on the ground, he resembled a star fish as he tried to figure out what happened. A second later, he shot up as he fixed his poor glasses.
He poked at the saran wrap with a frown, before glaring through it at the tops of his companions' heads.
"Oi!" He yelled. "What was that for?!"
"Nothing in particular," (Y/n) giggled, standing up with a cocky grin. "You've just been a bit boring the last couple days, Doctor."
"Boring?!" He quipped, wiggling under the saran wrap to the other side so he could stand in front of his companion. A brow raised, he studied her intensely. It took him barely a moment before an impish grin covered his face as he thought of a plan.
"Well, I can certainly entertain you," Taking (Y/n)'s hand, he lead her to the railing just to lean against it. In that moment, it was decided. A prank war had begun.
The Doctor's revenge came quick. (Y/n) was expecting for him to tease her, make her wait until she forgot so he could prank her when she least expected it. However, it was barely a couple hours later before she opened up her bedroom door, and she was met with the most bananas she had ever seen in her entire life.
They were everywhere- taped to her walls; covering the floor; piled on the bed; hanging from the ceiling; pouring out of her closet; heaped in the corners; and even fixed to her doorknob. Her gasp wasn't unnoticed as the Doctor appeared around the corner with a happy smirk. Donna quickly followed and in that moment, raised a white flag. She wanted no part of this war.
Based on the Doctor's victorious hop in the air, (Y/n) knew she took a hit. But she didn't let it get her down. Instead, she let it fuel her determination- and quickly planned her next trick.
She waited patiently. The longer she waited, the more suspicious the Doctor became. He grew jumpy, narrowing his eyes at any tiny movement (Y/n) would make. Checking his chair before he sat down; making sure he was truly alone before opening a door; scanning his equipment. He became paranoid.
It was exactly how she wanted it. The more he jumped, the more she would grin.
Finally, she got what she wanted. Donna had begged the Doctor to take her someplace on Earth and (Y/n) put her devilish plan into action. The Doctor was already suspicious of her, so she spent a good ten dollars to pay a bunch of teenagers to carry out the elbow-grease.
Oh, his reaction was sweet. Upon returning to the TARDIS after a day of fun, he screeched when he found his beautiful time machine covered in saran wrap from top to bottom.
He whipped around towards (Y/n) the minute he remembered their little war.
"You-!" He bellowed, pointing an accusing finger. "Bad human!"
Donna and (Y/n) both doubled over in laughter at his reaction. The Tardis seemed to hum in laughter as well, surprising the Doctor even more. Of course- (Y/n) wouldn't dare touch the TARDIS without her approval.
It took the Doctor hours to finally free the TARDIS. When he was done, he sulked and glared every time (Y/n) would start giggling. Finally, he decided to take action against her.
He stood, and crept toward her. His face was emotionless, and he kept his eyes glued to her face. Upon noticing his slow approach, she quickly began to back up. In the moment, she felt like his prey.
The Doctor's eyes never wavered, never glanced away. As he stalked towards her, Donna's brows rose in suspicion. The Doctor didn't need to give her any signal before she backed into the TARDIS leaving the two alone just as the he came to a stop in front of (Y/n).
She froze, confused by his actions. Watching as his eyes scanned her up and down, seeming to memorize her every feature. Taking a deep breath, she met his eyes and waited.
"I'm going to do something to you- something you will never, ever forget," He began, his hands creeping towards her own. Caught up in the moment, her (e/c) eyes darted between his own dark ones. She let out a sigh as he gently grabbed her wrists, dragging her towards him.
The Doctor licked his lips, his eyes suddenly portraying worry as he leaned closer to (Y/n). But, in a swift, tender moment, he pressed his lips to hers. He didn't do any more than that besides hold his breath, relishing the feeling of her own breath gently fanning across his face.
In a few seconds, he seemed to back track, completely pulling himself away. Quickly, he turned away from her and composed himself as he let out the breath he was holding. When he turned back to (Y/n), he smiled and laughed at the pure shock on her face.
"I think..." He grinned. "I've won."
