{Y/N's POV}
I flinched as Shawn placed his hand on my leg. He instantly removed it and looked at me apologetically.

"I'm sorry," he said. I sighed and looked down at my lap.

"No, Shawn. It's me that should be apologising. I never let you touch me, it's so stupid," he slowly picked me up and placed me on his lap.

"It isn't stupid, Y/N. You've lost trust in your past and I don't blame you. It will take time but I'll always be here for you," I smiled and leaned on his shoulder.

"Thank you, Shawn." I whispered.

"It's alright," He said before I drifted off to sleep.

I sent Shawn numerous texts asking where he was and if he was okay. It was 11:30pm and he still wasn't home. I began to panic. What if something bad happened? What if he's drunk? What if he's cheating?

"Hey babe," my thoughts vanished as I looked at him walking in.

"Where were you?" I asked. He furrowed his eyebrows and placed his coat down.

"I was at the bar, I told you." He said.

"Oh, right." I nodded and wrapped the blanket around me. He sighed and sat next to me.

"Y/N, you can trust me. I'm not like him." He said softly.

"I know, it's just hard for me." Shawn nodded understandingly and wrapped his arms around my waist and shoulders.

"I'll never leave you," He whispered and kissed my forehead.

{3rd persons POV}

This was something she'd never felt before, she didn't know how to act to certain problems.

She repeatedly hit his chest as he tried his best to calm her down. As much as it wasn't working, he refused to give up.

He wrapped his strong arms around her, preventing her from using her arms. She sobbed into his chest as he ran his hands up and down her back.

She apologised over and over again for being the way she was, wondering why he didn't just leave her. There was nothing to apologise for, but he just whispered things in her ear to make her feel better.

She was falling in love and losing control. She hated being this vulnerable, anyone could leave at any moment and that's what scared her most.

He was in love and already lost control. Therefore he had to make this all worth it, for his and for her sake.
