Trigger warning

{Y/N's POV}
I stood up from my desk and smiled, looking at all the completed work. I turned on my phone and saw several missed calls from Shawn. I turned off my music and sat on my bed, calling him back.

After ringing him three times, he finally answered.

"Shawn, are you okay?" I asked. He took a deep breath before finally responding.

"Yeah, I just- I missed you," He said.

"I missed you too, it's only a couple of months now," I said, leaning back onto my headboard. There was subtle sobbing coming from the other line. "Shawn, what's wrong?" I asked.

"C-can I come over?" He stuttered.

"You're two hours away," I sighed.

"I can drive." He suggested. I grabbed my car keys and slipped my shoes on before walking out my apartment.

"Stay where you are, I'm on my way. I love you, Shawn." I told him reassuringly. I heard him sigh softly.

"I love you, too."

Two hours later

"Hey, Andrew. Where's Shawn?" I asked. He looked at me with confusion before pointing to a hotel room.

"What are you doing here?" I shook my head and told him I'd explain later, before entering Shawn's room.

"Shawn?" I called out. The room was dark so I turned the light on, seeing Shawn sprawled out on the bed, a pillow covering his face. I sat next to him and placed my hand on his shoulder.

"St-stop!" He yelled, backing away. He finally realised it was me, and pulled me into a hug.
"I've missed you." He whispered into my neck.

"I've missed you, too." I smiled, rubbing his back. "Tell me what's wrong, I'm worried." I pulled away from the hug and placed both my hands on his face. I'd never seen him this way. His eyes were bloodshot and had bags under, his face was red and his hair looked like it hadn't been washed in days.

"She-she touched me," he erupted in loud sobs once again. I pushed his hair off his forehead and brought him into another hug.

"Who did, love?" I asked quietly. His grip on my shirt tightened.

"I don't know." He muttered. He took deep breaths and shut his eyes tightly.

"Shawn you have to tell me what happened." I said. He sighed and sat up straight, holding my hand in his.

"I was at a party." Tears rolled down his face but he just wiped them away and continued his story. "This girl kept following me and Brian around, I figured she was a fan so we got a photo together and then I thought she'd leave." He paused for a moment.

"It's alright, take your time," I brushed my hands through his hair.

"She asked me to take her to her hotel because she was alone. So I did, I didn't think anything weird because she was 5'2, I just thought she wanted help." He explained. "I was drunk, but not wasted. I was aware of my surroundings, until she handed me a water bottle. Something came over my body and I couldn't move. She dragged me onto her bed and-"

"You don't have to go into detail, Shawn." He nodded slowly and bit his lip, looking down at his lap. "Have you told the police?" I asked.

"No," he replied. "I don't know this girl, what use would it have?" I wrapped my arms around him and let him cry into my shoulder.

"Do you want a drink?" I asked. He quickly shook his head. "I know it's traumatic for you, Shawn. But you're dehydrated." I pulled him to the bathroom and he sat on the counter. I brought in a glass and filled it, passing it to him. He stared at it before going pale and rushing to the toilet. I rubbed his back as he vomited, crying in the process.

Once he had finished, I handed him a toothbrush and he wiped his face before flushing the toilet.

"Sorry," He said after taking small sips from the cup.

"There's nothing to be sorry for," I told him. He smiled before placing the water on the counter. "Do you want to get in the shower?" I asked. He looked at me with sad eyes and shook his head.

"Shawn, I promise you nothing will happen to you. I'll be waiting out there, okay?" I asked, pointing to the bathroom door.

"I really don't want to, Y/N. I don't think I can," his breathing quickened as tears rolled down his cheeks. I sat him down on the toilet and stood in between his legs, wiping away his tears.

"I'll stay in the bathroom with you, I'll always be here," I whispered, kissing the top of his head. He nodded and I grabbed him a towel as well as clean clothes.

"Thank you for all of this, Y/N. I love you, so much." He said. I smiled as he hugged me tightly.

"I love you too, Shawn. Take as long as you need in there. I'll be right here, okay?" He nodded before stepping into the shower and closing the curtain. I heard the water fall onto the shower floor as he took deep breaths.

"Y/N? Are you still there?" He called out.

"Yes, Shawn. I'm here," I heard him sigh with relief, making me smile.

He stepped out the shower around 15 minutes later with bruises all along his body.

"Baby," I sighed and ran my hands across his chest. He flinched and I removed my hands, instantly apologising.

"I don't think I can do the next few shows." He said, his voice cracking.

"You don't have to, I'll talk to Andrew for you." He changed into sweatpants and a hoodie before pulling me out of the bathroom.

We both climbed into the bed, him cuddling into my side. I wrapped both my arms around him and rested my cheek on the top of his head.

"I don't think I can sleep." He mumbled.

"It's okay, I'll stay up until you do. I promise you, you're safe here." He nodded and thanked me before pulling the covers over his body, eventually falling asleep.

I haven't been on here in a while because I'm kinda growing out of this fanfic stage oOps
