{Shawn's POV}
I reached out slowly, softly touching her hand. She didn't react or even flinch. I sat closer to her and placed my arm around her waist.

"What are you doing?" She snapped before moving away from me. I expected this from her, yet it still hurt me.

"It's fine, Y/N. I promise," I spoke softly. She shook her head and threw her cigarette onto the floor before stepping on it.

"No, stop." I could hear the fear in her voice, so i kept my distance. She sat back down on the roof but refused to look at me

"I'm sorry." I said, breaking the silence. She nodded and looked out at the view. "Y/N, look at me." She reluctantly turned her head so she was now facing me. "I know you're scared, but you have to let your guard down for me. I can't get in otherwise." I spoke, slowly reaching out for her hands.

"Maybe I don't want you to get in," she shrugged and looked down at the ground. I sighed and stood up. "Where are you going?" She asked.

"I'm going inside." I replied. I climbed back through the window and could hear her following behind me. I sat down on the couch and rested my head on my fists. She sat down beside me and we sat in silence.

"Sorry," she mumbled under her breath. Usually I would ask her to repeat this, but I knew she was finally letting her guard down and I couldn't ruin this.

"I like you, Y/N. I really do. And in order to make this work, you have to work with me here." I told her. She grabbed my hands in hers and smiled softly.

"I'll try." She said. I smiled back at her and turned to face the TV, not letting go of her hand.

"Shawn?"

"Yes?"

"Can I, hug you?" She asked. I grinned widely and opened my arms for her. She gladly wrapped her small arms around my neck and rested her head on my shoulder.

"Im sorry for being a pain in the ass." She mumbled. I chuckled and squeezed her softly.

"I should be the one apologising. I'm sorry for pushing you all the time, I just want you to see how much I care for you." I pulled away from the hug but she kept her arms around me.

"I'm sorry," she said and instantly pulled away. I leaned back on the couch and pulled her closer to me, kissing her on the forehead.

"Stop apologising,"

What a shitty ending wow I'm sorry.
I'm really running low on ideas recently which is the reason I haven't been posting. I'm sort of falling out of love with writing and I don't know why but I'm sorry, I'll try update as much as I can :)
