{Y/N's POV}
My thoughts continuously looped over one particular thing - or person. I went through what I was going to say for the fifth time before softly knocking on the door.

"Hey, Shawn." I spoke quietly to myself. "I-" the door swiftly opened, taking me by surprise. What took me even more by surprise was who had just opened the door.

"Hello, is Shawn in?" I asked. The girl nodded with a sweet smile before opening the door so I was able to step inside.

"Shawn, someone's here for you," she called. "The living room is just through there if you want to take a seat. Make yourself comfortable." She said. If she wasn't acting so nice I would tell her I've been here before, probably a lot more than she had.

"Who is it?" He asked, walking into the living room and looking for someone. I assumed it was the other girl. "Oh, Y/N. what are you doing here?" He pulled a sweater over his head and sat on the couch opposite me.

"I just wanted to talk to you," I smiled weakly as the girl walked back into the living room.

"Sorry to interrupt, I was just wondering if you wanted a tea?" She asked sweetly. I shook my head softly.

"No, thank you. I won't be here long," she nodded and looked over at Shawn who snapped out of some sort of daze.

"Right, Y/N, this is Kelsey. Kelsey, this is Y/N." she smiled at me and sat beside Shawn.

"Nice to meet you, Y/N. I don't think Shawn has ever mentioned you before, other wise I would've greeted you much better." She chuckled, Shawn joining in. I looked over at Shawn with my eyebrows raised.

"That's alright, seeing you here sort of took me by surprise, too." I forced my realist smile possible. Their laughter died down as Kelsey stood back up.

"Well, I'll leave you two to chat." She said before ruffling his hair and leaving the room.

"She's great, isn't she?" He asked, completely in awe.

"Yeah, she's fine." I nodded along. "I kind of have something to tell you, Shawn. Which is the reason I came over here," I explained. He looked at me and nodded.

"I have something to tell you, too. Same time?" He smirked. I smiled at how he remembered the times we would do this as a kid.

"I don't think they're going to be the same sort of news." I said honestly. I knew his would be about her, and I frankly did not want to hear it.

"So? Come on, Y/N. same time." He said. I rolled my eyes and gave in.

"Alright fine, on the count of three." He nodded and we both looked each other in the eyes, something we would always do for some reason.

"One,"

"Two,"

"Three,"

"I sort of, love you."

"I think I love her,"
