OMG hey!!!! guess which lazy bitch finally made a trailer. This bitch did. Seriously though, the trailer was shit, the only good trailer in this series is the very last one so. Soz. but i figured you may want to see it. Ps, youtube is the worst place to find people. i could not for the life of me find videos of people that resembled Malaya. It took forever. PPS you can only watch this video with the link, so here > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmpH24ViqSM, All credits are in the bio on my channel so all the people who cry "STEALER", shhhhh. I own the compiled video. Not the clips within.

Newt's POV

I felt myself drift awake from the two hours' sleep I managed to catch, I don't know how I even managed that. I was constantly expecting to feel Malaya right next to me, her head on my chest and her arms around me. But she wasn't, she was still in danger.

I flickered my eyes open, then I remembered that I had fell asleep outside. I was confused, the sky was a lifeless grey, it had never been that colour before. I cocked my head to the side as I looked around. For a moment I thought that maybe I had just woken up early.

I gazed at the sky, there were no clouds, no sun, nothing, it merely looked like someone had forgotten to paint the sky this morning. It cast a creepy gloom over the Glade, the looming walls seeming ten times bigger then I have ever seen them.

I lifted my arm and squinted at the watch, but that only made the situation worse. It was 5 minutes before the doors opened, the sun should be up. Why was the sky grey? My heart started to pound, something was wrong, that feeling I had yesterday was back.

Were the creators mad because people keep running out there at night? No one ever has, it's only now that people have. Or maybe Malaya was killed. I choked on my own breath and shook my head, fighting my tears.

I slowly dragged myself up from the ground, pulling my aching legs under me as I looked around. I wasn't wrong, people were up, and they were freaking out. There was a big group in the middle of the Glade, Alby's frustrated figure standing before them like a priest trying to scream to his congregation.

I wasn't the only one freaking out about this.

I didn't think, I sprinted as fast as I could to the outbreak of people in the centre of the glade. Alby couldn't handle everyone by himself. What was happening here?! this wasn't normal. I came to a grinding halt up next to Alby and he turned to me. Clear fear and anger on his face.

It was never a good thing when Alby looked even the slightest bit scared, this boy had seen everything and had, like us, been here the longest. He was the one to listen to and to trust. Not that Malaya believed that. But she hardly believes anyone. She wasn't trusting in that sort of way.

"What the bloody hell is going on here?"

I demanded and Alby shook his head, gesturing to the crowd of glader's who were really starting to freak the bloody hell out. This wasn't good, why was the sky grey? What could the creators possibly do to us now that wouldn't result in us dying. What do they want from us. They attack Malaya's brain and then start freaking us out. What had we done?

"Does it look like I know? The shuck sky's broken and no one's listening"

"Like I bloody need this right now"

I growled, pain stabbing me in the chest with the memory of Malaya's absence. Alby just growled at me. What was his damn problem?! He didn't understand, she had been there for me through everything, when I was struggling to be the leader he wants me to be she was right there at my side, her hand intertwined with mine. I didn't know any better. I had come so accustomed to having her around, now it was hard to do stuff when she wasn't here. Alby just didn't get it. I can't handle all of this.
