Chapter 19
Aria's P.O.V
We've been running for hours now. I stopped and so did everyone else. They were panting, except for Aunt Helena and Uncle Simon. I went behind a tree, shifted, put my clothes back on and walked back out. "Let's take a 5 minute break." I said to them. They all went and shifted. "How...aren't you...tired like the...rest of us?" Nicholas asked me, Helena and Simon, between pants. "Do you want to tell them that or shall I?" I asked them sarcastically. "You can!" Simon said. "It will have something to do with hard core training for 3 years. Then being a training coach for a year after that." I said for my explanation. "And ours are something similar to that, except maybe add a few on with the training part." Helena said.
The others stared at us shocked. "What?" I asked. "We're a hard core family." "Yeah, but to run for that amount of time we just did, and not break a sweet or panting like crazy, is basically impossible." Jason said. "Wait till you see my training plan for the Blood Moon." I said with a evil smirk. "Oh no, I hope they're prepared because Aria is going to give them hell!" Simon said and I chuckled. "Yeah, I'm going to get their fighting status from basically zero to 10 in a, hopefully, in a few weeks to a few months." I said. "10?" Lily asked. "I always rate my training out of 10. So let's put it this way, 1 = 10, 2 = 20, 3 = 30 and so on." I explained when I saw Lily's confused expression.
Everyone had calmed down now, had water and something to eat. We headed off again. After about another hour we hit Blood Moons territory. The panic, fear and worry kept on tripling with each hour pasts. I howled at Andrew and who ever else was looking for me when I was 10 minutes away from the pack house. I got a whole lot of howls in return. After 5 minutes I reach the training field. I see Justin and Andrew already waiting there looking around frantically. I didn't stop, even when Helena and Simon were barking at me to stop. I howled at them and their heads immediately snap towards me and bolted. Andrew in front, Justin not far behind. I began to slow down then speed back up again, but headed towards the trees, I shifted and put clothes on as fast as I can. When I walked out, Andrew was 10 feet from me. He had relief and worry sketched onto his his, so has Justin's. I ran towards them. Andrew picked me up and spinned me around, and held onto me very tightly. "C-Can't b-breath!" I wheezed.
After he let go of me, I saw tears were falling down his face now. I cupped his face and wept them away with my thumb. "Hey, it okay. I'm here! I'm right here!" I say gently to him. He nodded and leaded into my right hand. "Just don't do that ever again." He said shakily to me. I pulled him into a hug again. After a few minutes, I let go of Andrew and turned to a now tear strain face Justin. I walked over and pulled him into a hug. I held onto him as he cried into my shoulder. I ran one of hand into his hair and the other rubbing his shoulder, whispering soothing words to him. "I'm right here, Justin! I'm right here!" I said to him. "I thought I lost you again. I can't go through that again, not again. I won't be able to handle it." He managed to say through sniffles and tears. "Shh, I know. I'll explain later." I said to the both of them. "You better! Nearly Kyle and Tristan went out looking for you, and they can't shift until in two days from now." Andrew said. "Really?!" I asked surprised. "Yep, and Declan may or may not kill you for running off like that and NOT coming back." Andrew said wearily.
I held out my hand to him and he took it. "C'on then. Let's not keep them waiting." Andrew said as he started to pull me towards the pack house. "Hold on." I said and looked around. I managed to see them in the midst of the trees on the other side of the field. I took me hand back, "You might want to cover your ears." I say before putting my forefinger and thumb in my mouth and blew, creating my whistle. I brought my other hand up and over my hand, signalling them to follow. They came out in their human forms. Justin and Andrew growled, "Aria, who are these guys?" Andrew finish saying that when Aunt Helena and Uncle Simon came out. "Are they who I think they are?" Justin said. "Yeah and they know, just stay by me for now." I said and Justin nodded and he moved closer to me.
