Chapter 43
Chase's P.O.V
Hey guys, sorry this ones late. Had a busy weekend and barely wrote at all, so I decided to update today so you wouldn't have to wait another week for an update. Hope you enjoy it!
I woke up yelling, startling Aria. "Chase! What's wrong?!" She asked. I just shook my head, trying to get that dream out of my head and saying no to her. I pulled her close to me, wanting her near me. I rested my back against the headboard as I got Aria to straddle me. "Just let me hold you for a minute." I said in a small, shaky voice. She didn't say anything, just made herself comfortable, stroking my chest. I took in her sweet scent as Sapphire made her way to Levi. She laid down next to him and he placed his head on her shoulders while Saph purred to us, calming us. I felt Ari nip at my neck, rolling the skin between her teeth. I moaned slightly as I moved my head to the side. "Do want to tell me?" She asked after I relaxed completely. "Maybe later. What the time?" I asked. "5:37." She replied. "No point in going back to sleep." I said, picking her up and placing her next to me. "Are you going to be okay?" She asked. "Yeah, I will. Just give me a little time first." I replied getting up, crabbing some clothes and heading for a shower.
I told you you'd be mine.
I can't get that line out of my head! I know the person who said it and I am really hoping I'm wrong! Aria joking me soon after I started the shower and I was in no state of mine to argue as she washed me, then herself. "Come on." She said, pulling me out of the shower and drying me. "I can do that." I said, stopping her. "No, you can't. Your head is somewhere else. You can't concentrate on anything." She said. "Your not anything!" I whispered before I kissed her thoroughly and passionately. "Okay, but I'm keeping an eye on you." She said as she dried herself. I couldn't help but watch her. The way she dries herself almost got me to my knees. "Like what you see?" She asked and all I could do was nod. She chuckled as she took my towel and started drying me. She purposely brushed hard against my sweet spot and that did get me to my knees.
"Wow... That's some sweet spot." She said as I shook my head. We got dressed after that and headed down stairs. "Want anything in particular?" Aria asked once we reached the Dinning room. "Whatever you're having is fine." I replied and she walked off into the kitchen while I sat down. Aditi and Ryder came a few minutes later. "Hey." I greeted them. "Hey." They replied. "How's your neck?" I asked Ryder. "A little sore, but other than that... I haven't been this stronger in four yours." He replied. "What are you guys doing up early?" Aria asked, coming back out. "We're used to getting up early." Drake replied, coming in with Atlan. "Can you two cook?" Aria asked Aditi and Atlan. "Yeah. We can." Atlan replied. "Good, I need help in the kitchen." Aria said, drugging them into the kitchen. "Is she always-" "Yep." "Do you have an-" "Nope." I said as they took turns in asking questions. "Trust me, with her, I'm more than useless." I added. "I heard that!" Aria yelled from the kitchen. "Crap." I muttered.
"She scares you." Drake stated. "Ha, yeah." I replied. "Your another one." Ryder groaned, sitting across from me. "Another one what?" I asked. "Another one that's afraid of their mate." Drake replied, taking a seat next to Ryder. "Well, I've got reasons." I said. "Yeah, what are they?" Drake asked. "A little hard explain." I answered. "Have a go." Ryder encouraged. "Well.... First off, I'm mated to the High Royal and powers are coming at us left, right and centre, and some other bazar stuff you won't believe yet." I explained. "Yet?" Drake asked confusingly. 'Should I?' I asked Aria. 'Might as well. We're showing them the prophecy today anyway.' She replied. I sighed and told them everything that has happened to us. At the end they looked dumfounded and unbelieving. "But that's not possible." Ryder whispered. "I didn't believe at first either, that was until yesterday." I said as Aria came out with Atlan and Aditi.
