Chapter 36
Chase's P.O.V
Levi and I were fuming in rage when Drake stopped us from following our mate. "My Mother wants to talk to Aria in private Chase. As I told the others earlier, when you were in the infirmary, do not mess with my Mother!" He said as he had a tight grip on my arm. "Get off me! I don't care what you say, she's my mate!" I growled at him. "You don't want to mess with me pup!" Drake growled back. "Guys?!" "I think I do!" I returned, thrusting my arm out of his grip. "Alright pup, you wanna go... Let's go!" Drake said, walking back to the edge of the mats, taking his shoes, socks and shirt off.
Andrew came over to me and got me to face him. "Chase this is a bad idea! Drake was trained with us.... Because of his wo-" "I don't care Andrew!" I cut him off and shoved him of me. He stumbled back a bit surprised, then angry. "Fine! But don't go crying to Aria. I did try and warn you!" He said storming off the mats. Drake eyed me angrily and went to Andrew. "You alright?" He asked. "Oh yeah, I'm fine." Andrew said sarcastically. Justin managed to calm him down a bit to get him away from the mats.
"You'll pay for that mutt!" Drake hissed at me quietly. "Bring it blood sucker!" I hissed back. Drake launched at me and I evaded him, but what I wasn't expecting was his legs knocking into mine, toppling me over. I rolled over when I saw a fist aim at my face and got to my feet. Drake hissed in pain when his fist connected with the mats. I saw his eye were a bright red from anger. 'Chase stop! Think ab-' Levi started saying before I shut him out. I was going to deal with this on my own.
Justin's P.O.V
I can't believe Chase shoved my brother! It made me and Nari both angry beyond belief. After I managed to calm Drew down a bit, I lead him to a corner of the gym, away from the mats. Andrew pressed his back against the wall and slid down it, I followed suite. "Now tell me the truth... Are you okay?" I asked him gently. He looked at me, tears rimming his eyes. "Hey... Hey, come on. Come here." I told him, holding my arms out for him. He sifted over a bit and rested his head on my shoulder. I laid my head on his, rubbing his back and shoulder, comforting him. Drew cried silently, he didn't sob, he didn't make any sound, just cried.
"I-Is he always l-like t-that when h-he's a-angry?" Drew asked after 10 minutes. All through that time, I watched Drake and Chase fight on mats. I bet Chase forgot about the part about Aria saying Drake had werewolf blood. "Yeah. Sometimes he can get so worked up, he doesn't think before acting." I answered him. I felt Andrew move his head so he could see the fight better. "He's s-still an idiot. He w-won't stand a c-chance against Drake." Drew said, lifting his head off my shoulder. "I heard what you saying before Chase interrupted. Did Drake really train with you?" I asked.
"Yeah. Aria managed to get the elders at WTC to accept him into the centre because of his wolf blood. We made a agreement with them as long he doesn't suck anybodies blood, they would train him." Andrew explained. "Ha... Wouldn't have figure that out, no matter how much time you give me. I still wouldn't have guest that!" I said sarcastically. Andrew laughed, which I was trying to archive. "Yeah, I bet... Actually, Chase isn't doing that bad, surprisingly." Andrew said, watching the fight. "But Drake is playing with him." He added. "Huh?" I said, totally confused. "Aria and I watch Drake fight pups before, to help them train, if he angers them enough, they just do what their wolf feels like doing. That's what we want them not to do. If we can teach them that, they won't do it. They'll find their own way to calm their minds.... With Chase though, that might be hard. The earlier we get that into their minds, the safer they'll be." Andrew explained.
We watched the fight for another 5 minutes before Andrew stiffened and relaxed again. "Drake wants to know whether he can talk about the abuse you and Chase gave Aria. He knows that it'll break him, but he won't talk about it if you don't want to." Andrew said. I stiffened at the mention of that, but relaxed again when I thought about it. Chase is looking frustrated and even more angry than when he started. "I think I can handle it." I replied. "We can go somewhere else if you like?" Andrew suggested. "Yeah, that might be better." I said. I really don't want to be reminded what I did to Ari. It makes me want to kill myself just even the odds out.
