Chapter 30
Lara's P.O.V
"And he's one of the rouges that attacked Angie." Aria said. WHAT! You can't be serious! "He was what!?" I replied, shocked. Aria sighed before repeating slowly, "He was one of the rouges that attacked Angie." I released a frustrated sigh. "You haven't hurt him have you?" I asked, voice deadly serious. "No, we haven't, we just put him and the other 3 in the cellars below." Aria said calmly. "Can I see him?" I asked. "You can on one condition." Aria implied strongly. "Name it." "Tell me what Lilly mean by 'She's water?'" She asked.
Oh crap, she heard!
Aria's P.O.V
"Tell me what Lilly mean by 'She's water?'" I asked her. Wanting to know what they meant by that. "You heard that?" Lara asked nervously. "Yes, I did." "Well, um, do know about elemental wolves?" She asked. "Yes?" I replied, confused by the metio- "Wait! Your telling me that Angie is the Water elemental!" I asked. Lara nodded. "There's more than 4, but the main and high four are Water, Wind, Earth and Fire. Wind is allies with Fire and Earth since they can interact with them really well, but Fire and Earth not so much. Water is also an ally of Earth, great friends with Wind, but an enemy of Fire. Considering that we are either ally's or friends, we can get along well together if either one of them don't cause trouble that could anger their enemy." Lara said.
"Your one of the 4 elementals, are you?" I asked. "Yes, I'm Fire and Lilly is Wind. Which kind of fits actually, since Lilly and I are twins and Wind is a friend of Water, so that won't be a problem between Angie and I. I'm more worried about Earth. We still haven't him... Or her yet!" Lara answered and I nodded. "So back at the Golden Palace, when I finished explaining why I was on that territory... I saw your hands turn pink and eyes closed tightly. You were about to use that Fire power, didn't you?" I asked. "Yes, I almost did. My wolf was so angry, she wanted to hunt them down and burn them ever so slowly!" Lara replied angrily.
"Steady girl! I know what they did was bad, but it's fine now. After everything that has happened, me marking Chase, using that.... Magic and can easily see that they regret doing that to me. Every time when it's mentioned, they both flinch." I said reassuringly. "Yeah, I've noticed that.... Can I see my mate now?" Lara asked nervously. "Just let me get Declan and Chase." I said. "Why?" Was all she said, but I know what she meant. Why call them as well? "I was just thinking that while he's up here, we could asked him a few question. Don't worry you'll have few minutes with him first and if he's explanation is reasonable, then he'll be let out if he tells us the truth! Alright?" I said firmly.
"Alright. Where shall I wait for you?" She asked. "For now, wait in the hall. Chase can decide wear we want him." I said as I walked down the hall and out the front door.
The front yard was empty so I walked around the side of the house to see Kyle and Tristan running around each other with Angie and Lilly following. Looked over to Mason and Sophia, they had smiles and real ones this time, on their face's. Mason even laughed. That's the first time I've heard him laugh since we've found him. I walk up next to him. "You know, that the first time I've heard you laugh in a long time Mase." I said to him, using the old nick name it gave him. Mason looked at me and smiled sadly, then his happy mood turned into sour mood.
I looked to Sophy and gave her the confused, but questionable look. She just looked at me just as confused and worried. "Mase are you hiding something I should know?" I asked him, worried now. "No, why would you say that?" He asked nervously. "Well firstly, you mood went from happy to the complete opposite and secondly, your acting nervous, like when you do when you lie." Sophia said. "No, I don't." He said. I opened my mouth to say something but was cut off. "Just leave me alone!" Mason snapped before storming back to the pack house.
