Andrew

I watched in alarm inside our own haven as Aria's knees crumbled and her body dropped to the floor.

"Aria!" I shouted within our mind as James tried to nudge her awake. He growled when the beta tried to come closer and he raised his hands.

"Easy, Andrew...I just want to check on her, is that okay?" he asked. James growled lowly and stood over Aria defensively. "Look, pup, I just want to help her, and I can't if I'm kneeling here."

James, let him help her, I pleaded. Please, you saw how she's steadily getting weaker the past week. It might be the rejection, she'll need help. James grumbled and picked up the bag. His growl was muffled by it as he turned in a circle once.

"You want us to turn around?" the beta asked. James dipped his head and the beta rolled his eyes. He waited when they didn't and whined at the beta. Neither James or I trusted them to shift and at least dressed in my boxers before allowing them anywhere near her. The beta heaved a tired sigh and gestured to the others to turn around. I didn't hesitate to force the shift and hastily pulled on a pair of shorts.

"Ari," I whispered and pulled her closer.

"Do you know what is wrong with her?" the beta asked.

"I-I don't know, she was rejected, and she has been getting weaker," I replied, and James whined.

It is the rejection, they're dying, Andrew. They're sharing their energy to keep themselves alive, but they need a pack doctor now, he yelled as the beta stared at me in shock.

"Was the rejection properly done?" he asked.

"I don't know, I only heard my sisters acceptance, not her mate's rejection,"

"Fuck. Michael, you're the fastest of us; take the girl straight to Ethan. Don't stop for anything," the beta said as he picked up my sister bridle style and stood next to the grey wolf. "Rogue, hop on Michael and hold onto your sister. He'll get you to the hospital." I nodded and straddled the grey wolf's back. I held onto my sister tightly with one arm and gripped Michael's fur with the other.

"Our bag," I said.

"We'll bring it with us, we won't be far behind you," the beta said sternly, and I nodded. "Go!" Michael surged forward and headed deeper into White Warrior territory. Aria's head rolled this way and that way as he weaved through the trees. I'd tried to keeper her as steady as possible, but it was futile. It didn't take us long to reach a two-story house. The grey brick house stood out under the morning rays, the white trims of the doors and windows were pristine and were quite blinding to look that.

Michael came to a stop on the concrete driveway, close to the front door and I climbed off him. He growled in warning when I went to take a step towards the door.

"Okay, okay," I said. "I'll stay put." He eyed me for a second before he disappeared into the bush and coming back as a human, which was just as handsome. We quickly walked to me and held his arms out.

"Give her to me, rogue; the doctor doesn't like rogues, not since they nearly killed his mate and unborn child last month," Michael said, and I reluctantly pass her over.

"Yeah, we don't like rogues either," I said sadly. Michael looked at me strangely, but I could only focus on my sister getting paler by the minute. He shook his head and approached the door. He didn't bother to knock, he'd just opened the door and rushed in. A woman a few years older than me was walking up the stairs when she turned around. In her arms was a newborn baby girl, fast asleep.
