Here you go, folks, another chapter as promised. Jashinrules, thank you again for commenting in my last post. Purplebookeater, KhomeshSakeesing and AljeanaStaples, you've all voted in Question?. I actually need comments, not votes, to tell me what you think. All I would like a quick yes or no to a third-person point-of-view and whether you would like it in a new book instead of the original. If you three and anyone else who reads this, could do that for me, it'll be much appreciated. Thank you.
Aria
At first, the words didn't quite register but they didn't change when I reread the note. 'They're dead men,' Aiyana snarled and Sapphire growled in agreement. "You gotta be fucking kidding," I screeched, my anger intensifying as I crumpled the note. Zanner and Akiva immediately sent me their confusion and worry. I sent back the mess that were my emotions but they seemed to understand as their own anger matched mine. They managed to sooth me though before I could take my frustrations on the locked door. "Alright, alright," I muttered as I paced from wall to wall. "Ragnor would've have been smart, locking all the doors, windows and other exists until they return...if they return..." I paused as a thought occurred to me and I reached for the bond I have with them and surprise, surprise, they're struggling. They were too preoccupied to notice my meddling but their fear and panic overwhelmed me, Zanner and Akiva.
Their irritation and anger grew along with me. "And they're failing," I muttered. "Oh, really? Never would have guest that would be the outcome of their oh so marvellous plan," Addy said as she flung herself back into an armchair. "Not helping, Aditi," Stavos said and she growled. "We need to get there now," she replied. "I know that, Addy, just give me a second," I said as I continued to pace. "Okay, all magic is slightly different in regarding to the user...like a molecular structure." "Like how scents are different from person to person," Andrew clarified. "But werewolf families carry a similar scent, uh...like how the Knight family carry the scent of a rain forest that had a sudden down pour of rain plus their personal scent," Addy said as she sat up. "Could magic be the same?" Stavos asked as both he and I picked up on her train of thought.
"Yes, actually," I said and before I could ask, Chase was running upstairs to grab my phone. "Get ready?" Jesse asked. "Get ready," I repeated and they sprung into action. I rushed upstairs as well. I met Chase in our room and he already talking to Serenity. "...fucking hell are you?! You lot just hop up and disappear in the early hours before anyone can see you and all Justin and Theo can give us is that you left to rescue Alec? What the fuck happened?" she yelled loud enough for me to hear. "On speaker," I ordered and he immediately followed. "Seren, we need help. Can you teleport to the big island of Hawaii?" I immediately asked. "...Yes, I can but what happened?" I quickly gave her a run down of what happened two nights ago as dressed in my armour, rattling of the name of the hotel and address as I did. "You seem to catch all the breaks, Aria," Serenity whistled and I scoffed. "Tell me about it," I muttered.
"Alright, give me five minutes and I'll be there in a jiffy," she said and hanged up. I tossed my phone on the bed and strapped my daggers and guns to my person. I left my sword at home as it would have been useless against guns. Plus, tunnels can be as narrow as they are wide, you need room to swing a sword properly. Chase and Andrew were likewise the same but Chase had only daggers on him as he doesn't know how to use a gun. Not sure I want him too to be perfectly honest. 'Guns are the modern weapons, it's a skill he'll need to survive,' Aiyana said and I sighed. "What's the sigh for?" Chase asked as he shrugged on his armour. "Thinking about teaching you how to use a gun," I answered honestly. "I'm just not sure whether I like the idea of it."
